59% think Biden would quit midway through first term

Rasmussen Reports discovered that 59% of likely voters polled think that Joe Biden would not see out his first term as president. 39% who say it’s very likely.

Even 49% of Democrats think it’s likely Biden’s vice president will become president in the next four years, although that compares to 73% of Republicans and 57% of voters not affiliated with either major party.”

Bike shop co-owned by Lance Armstrong lectures Austin PD on ethics

Image may contain: sky and outdoor, text that says "Mellow JOHNNY'S BIKE SHOP FORT WORTH TRAINING RENTALS OHNAHOR S SHOP SERVIGE BUKE"

How amusing that a bicycle store co-owned by former Tour de France (TdF) cyclist Lance Armstrong decided to lecture the Austin Police Department on ethics. Mellow Johnny’s in Austin is ending a five-year contract worth up to $350,000 with the Austin PD to purchase, resell and service bikes for a downtown patrol unit used to manage large crowds and events. As a business, it is free to choose who it wishes to contract with.

The bike shop issued the following woke statement,

Businesses can no longer be non-participants in the communities they serve…We chose what we think will do the most to suture these divides and place our community on the right side of history.

Perhaps these SJW employees might reflect on their moral preening when considering the fact their boss admitted to deliberately using illegal performance-enhancing drugs to cheat his way to millions in endorsements and help win all 7 TdF titles. Why didn’t they refuse to work for a company knowingly co-owned by someone with such reprehensible morals and ethics?

Unfortunately, the downside forced this message from an unrelated bike shop with the same name.

“While Mellow Johnny’s Fort Worth shares the name with Mellow Johnny’s Austin, the two stores operate under separate management and ownership.

Mellow Johnny’s Fort Worth is not connected in any way to the decisions made by the Austin location’s management.

Mellow Johnny’s Fort Worth supports our community as well as responsible and ethical law enforcement.

Perhaps Mellow Johnny’s Fort Worth should offer to fill the void left by Austin?

State of recurring Disasters

Victorian Premier Dan Andrews has made a very strong case for rejecting identity politics in all of its forms.

It has now come to light that he and his team prioritized social inclusion over ability when selecting the private security firms to manage hotel quarantine during coronavirus. This is widely regarded as the source of the second outbreak. Guards with no training who ended up in some cases fornicating with guests under their watch. You can’t make this stuff up.

This is the same individual who refused to censure his Deputy Chief Health Officer Annaliese van Diemen for tweeting,

Sudden arrival of an invader from another land, decimating populations, creating terror…Forces the population to make enormous sacrifices & completely change how they live in order to survive. COVID19 or Cook 1770?

How is it possible that social justice took a front seat to a pandemic? Surely ALL Victorians would gladly trade identity politics for sound health policy prescriptions which didn’t lock them up for another 6 weeks.

Andrews was only too happy to have his police force fine people playing golf or fishing but didn’t prosecute a single person for attending a BLM rally which by itself must have also led to a spike in cases.

Here are some more pearls of wisdom we’ve noted over the years.

Years ago, the Victorian premier championed that he had 200,000 likes on FB, twice as many as Mike Baird in New South Wales. He also made the completely worthless boast that “Mike Baird gets no ‘Likes’ after 10pm“. Is that a true test of leadership? That only 3% of Victorians like him?

We recall Andrews pushing the Victorian Police to host segregated seminars for potential new recruits in order to accommodate their religious beliefs.

In October last year he said misogynist slogans on vehicles would lead to an automatic cancelation of registration. Presumably misandrist slogans were ok.

We noted the shocking state of affairs with the unionization of the Victorian CFA and its dreadful administration. Huge uptick in salaries, staffing and administration costs with a decline in equipment procurement.

Or the rorts for votes scandal.

Or joining China’s BRI without consulting the federal government on national security grounds.

We could go on.

The ability to steer through a crisis is the true test of any leader. All of Andrews’ flawed thinking might be nice to haves in the moral preening stakes. Sadly coronavirus has exposed them as utterly meaningless and outright dangerous. Putting forward ridiculous parameters for hiring put Victorian lives in more danger.

How he hasn’t resigned is beyond us. Despite being the most disastrous premier in Australian history, Andrews continues to get comforting support from mainstream and social media. Maybe he believes their propaganda that he is doing a decent job. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Michelle Obama says she has a form of low grade depression

Pity poor former FLOTUS Michelle Obama. Apparently quarantine has left her with a form of “low-grade depression” because she has become dispirited by the coronavirus, racial strife and the hypocrisy of the Trump administration.

We feel for her having to suffer being holed-up in a $15m Martha’s Vineyard mansion.

We think she can solve for the racial strife anxiety by simply rolling over and speaking to her husband, perhaps one of, if not the most racially divisive president in US history.

Our favorite example was his speech to the Black Caucus ahead of the 2016 election which we wrote about in Sept 2016,

I will consider it a personal insult, an insult to my legacy, if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election.

Is it any wonder Joe Biden came up with “You ain’t black” or that blacks aren’t as open minded as latinos so easily?

Or when Barack Obama encouraged in a speech to military personnel at MacDill Air Force Base to commit acts of mutiny if so required after Trump won the election by saying,

“each of us has…the universal right to speak your minds and to protest against authority; to live in a society that’s open and free; that can criticize our president without retribution.”

Or the many land mines he left for incoming President Trump before he sat in the Oval Office. Abstaining from a UN vote with respect to Israel, expelling Russian diplomats and even signing a refugee swap agreement with then Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull.

Perhaps Mrs Obama would feel less dispirited had her husband shown some class by not turning the eulogy of John Lewis into a campaign rally. MLK Jr’s niece could lend her some advice.

Or maybe she could smile a bit more were it not for the huge list of scandals under her husband’s own administration?

Black conservative Larry Elder put a wonderful montage as to the hypocrisy of Obama when it comes to race.

86% think mainstream media divisive

A Knight Foundation/Gallup poll released this week showed that 86% of Americans believe that there is a “great deal” or a “fair amount” of political bias in the mainstream media. This is 25% points higher than the same poll taken in 2007.

78% of Democrats and 94% of Republicans, believe that there is at least some bias in the media.

84% assign the media either a ‘great deal‘ (48%) or a ‘moderate amount‘ (36%) of blame for political division.

The poll noted when respondents were asked about their views of media outlets they distrust:

-79% of poll respondents said those outlets were “trying to persuade people to adopt a certain viewpoint.

-When news is inaccurate, 54% of Americans think it’s because reporters are “misrepresenting the facts,” while

-28% assume they’re “making them up entirely.

Does any of this surprise with the recent revelations outlined in the open letters from former MSNBC producer Ariana Pekary former NY Times op-ed contributor Bari Weiss. Or the recent parody from the Babylon Bee.

Mazie Hirono walks out when asked to denounce Antifa

Republican Senator Ted Cruz invited Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono to publicly denounce Antifa but she declined and walked out. #MarxistLivesMatter

While she had spoken before this clip to say she wanted to protect free speech and to denounce fringe groups, she couldn’t bring herself to mention the word, “Antifa” which has been responsible for the majority of 700 injured law enforcement officers, some permanently blinded by having lasers pointed at their eyes. She also made no effort to denounce her colleagues’ use of the words “stormtrooper” and “Gestapo” when referring to federal LEOs.

“Peaceful” protestors set fire to pig’s head wearing a police hat in Portland

Oh and it was set alight atop an American flag. How much can these people hate their country? The irony is that many of these social justice warriors would be the first people to call the police if their personal safety was at risk.

Yet another reason why Trump should win in a landslide. Normal everyday mainstream Americans surely don’t want to associate with a party that accepts the actions of these despicable brainwashed Marxists.

Here is betting the Democrats don’t say a word.

Bible burning in Portland

Yet more reason Trump should win by a landslide.

Portland BLM activists have resorted to burning bibles and the US flag. Will the Democrats condemn these spiteful acts or will Pelosi dismiss it as “they’ll do what they’ll do“?

Don’t these radicals understand how religious many minorities there are?

As we’ve said for months – keep up the good work. They’ll only polarize civilized Americans away from a party that doesn’t stand up to this behaviour. They might detest Trump but they’ll gladly withstand 4 more years of petulance for someone that stands up for their country rather than appease woke Marxist thugs.

We dare these dickheads to burn the Koran. As we all know they are cowards of the first order. It will never happen.

380 million reasons to feel oppressed

Mookie Betts (middle) has just signed a $380 million 12 year contract with the LA Dodgers baseball team. We don’t doubt his abilities.

Betts has agreed to make a charitable contribution of $100,000 annually out of the $27m he makes per annum. The egregiously unfair part of the deal is that he will be forced to stay in 4/5-star hotel suites while on road trips.

Imagine what he might have received if America wasn’t so systemically racist?

Cynically, one wonders whether kneeling for the BLM movement, while Marxist in its roots, might end up helping the agents of minority players leverage woke teams to offer even bigger paydays to atone for decades of oppression? Good on them if they can exploit capitalism for their own benefit.

We just hope these teams factor in the possibility that turning sports into politics may end up eroding the fan base by such an extent that they may end up unable to honour the deals to maturity.

Peaceful Extortion in NuLu

Radical left protestors are demanding that local businesses in New Louisville (NuLu) cave in and sign a contract to pay reparations or face negative online reviews for their businesses.

The letter reads,

The residents of Louisville, Kentucky are standing strong, educated, and together to express the destruction your business has caused to low-income communities, specifically those with majority black residents…We therefore demand representation and reparations in the NuLu business district of Louisville for the gentrification that has taken place. The policies and processes of the revitalization on NuLu has displaced marginalized people from homes their families have often resided for generations, single-handedly progressing the gentrification of black neighborhoods.”

This process has been happening to black, indigenous, and persons of color at the hands of white, heterosexual patriarchy since the inception of this nation we call home. Black folx [sic] can’t ‘have this own space’ when wealthy white folks see an opportunity to make more money…Gentrification is a palatable term that sugar coats one more aspect of an oppressive system targeted at black folx [sic] for 400 years. We are here today to demand representation over tokenism.

Do these crazies honestly think such actions will endear voters in November? We neither.
