Segregated in Seattle

This is truly sick. How much more of this racial segregation malarkey can Americans tolerate? What are we on about?

The City of Seattle’s Office of Civil Rights sent an email last month inviting “white City employees” to attend a training session on “Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness.

Christopher Rufo wrote an article in the City Journal after he received the training pack under a freedom of information request. His piece can be found here.

Rufo notes, “trainers explain that white people have internalized a sense of racial superiority, which has made them unable to access their “humanity” and caused “harm and violence” to people of color.

Once the diversity trainers have established this basic conceptual framework, they encourage white employees to “practice self-talk that affirms [their] complicity in racism” and work on “undoing [their] own whiteness.” As part of this process, white employees must abandon their “white normative behavior” and learn to let go of their “comfort,” “physical safety,” “social status,” and “relationships with some other white people.”

This insanity is off the charts. We’re surprised rats in face cages aren’t part of the process.

It isn’t the first time this type of brainwashing has hit Seattle. Starbucks also indulged in this Marxist rubbish two years ago after a store called the police on two non paying customers who refused to leave that just happened to be people of colour.

We wrote,

Starbucks closed 8,000 stores on Tuesday and reached out to activists and bias training experts to put a curriculum together for its 175,000 workers to prevent “unconscious bias

…While training staff is never a bad thing, do the human resources/ PR department at Starbucks honestly think that explicitly educating white people about their racism (if it truly exists on any scale to warrant the conscious bias based indoctrination) will do anything other than alienate more customers? What a smear on the majority of clientele and staff who no doubt exercise decency when transacting their skim milk doubleshot latte.”

These diversity trainers are absolutely the last people qualified to dictate to others about society.

Note Seattle has been Democrat for the last 30 years. Mayor Jenny Durkan was the one who called CHAZ a “summer of loveuntil it threatened her $7m mansion.

Cancel culture puts holes in Swiss chocolatier

Featured Image

Cancel culture. Weak corporate. Gutless response. Repeat.

It seems that Swiss Airlines will remove Swiss chocolatier, Läderach from its supplier list in April over the owner’s affiliation with a pro-life/pro-family Christian organization.

Who is this supposed to help? Passengers have a hard enough time consuming airline meals at the best of times to have the only edible certainty banned. To be honest, how often do passengers actively look through the list of suppliers of crackers, chocolates or packaged cheese and demand a boycott? Why don’t corporates truly work to understand their customers?

For over 10 years, Läderach had supplied Swiss Airlines with small boxes of chocolates that were given to some passengers as a token of appreciation. The company was aware of the CEO’s stance. Why didn’t it conduct proper due diligence 10 years ago?

According to an article published by Swiss magazine “Beobachter,” the airline has a significant number of homosexuals among its employees.

CEO Johannes Läderach denied being against homosexuals.

We have homosexuals working for us, too. We don’t ask them. I attended a gay network event because I wanted to hear what the LGBTQ movement has against Läderach. There I explained that I may have a different opinion on same-sex marriage or on the question when life begins. But this does not mean that I have anything against homosexuals. Läderach has zero-tolerance for discrimination.

Jürg Läderach, the owner of the chocolatier, is president of ‘christianity for today‘ (cft), a Swiss-based group. Johannes Läderach is a board member. cft advocates pro-life and calls for Christian values to be instilled in children.

In October 2019, left-wing activists attacked the Basel Läderach store using butyric acid which causes respiratory irritation, nausea and vomiting. 7 stores were attacked and forced to close for two days to clean the mess. A lot of lost business. Protestors surely broke the law. Repercussions? Probably not. It only emboldens more radical activism.

One has to wonder why Swiss Airlines doesn’t stand up against this form of terrorism instead of giving in to it. The majority of Swiss Airlines passengers probably pay little mind about the views of a chocolate owner. Is everything up for debate? Will something said 20 years ago surface?

As it turns out. Swiss Airlines buckled to a German homosexual lobby group which suggested,  “One way of protesting would be, for example, if hotels or restaurants decided to eliminate Läderach’s products from their range of goods and clearly mark the reason.

Are you noticing a pattern? The list is longer than FNF Media thought.

NY Times hired an editor who openly said she hates “dumbass f*cking white people“. She has since been fired.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed told her staff that she will no longer conduct business with 22 states that have laws limiting the ability of women to obtain abortions, specifically late-term. Sadly for Breed, Coca-Cola, WalMart, AT&T, Aetna, Pfizer & Eli Lilly have donated to politicians who have advocated for abortion bans in some of those 22 states. Will SF City Council vending machines be stripped of Diet Coke?

Multiple corporates folded to Mad F*cking Witches over radio presenter Alan Jones’ remarks over Jacinda Ardern. One has to question the corporate PR departments to flake out over a group who has that as a name. Companies like Koala Mattresses proudly dumped Jones despite promoting its brand via profanity-laced man-hater, Clementine Ford.

The Code of Conduct from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia has some interesting clauses regarding nurses acknowledging our colonialist past and check our white privilege.

The University of Texas  started the  “MasculinUT” programme. It was organized by the school’s counselling staff and most recently made a poster series encouraging students to develop a “healthy model of masculinity.” The program is built around “restrictive masculinity” and tries to encourage men to drop traditional gender roles to “act like a man”, be “successful” or “the breadwinner.”

11,000 signatories attached to the non-peer reviewed paper which the media made absolutely zero attempts to question the validity of included Mickey Mouse, Aminta Aardvark and Albus Dumbledore. Typical drip-feed brainless and contemptable reporting.

An open letter supporting the Extinction Rebellion threw up some very enlightening facts. Read it and weep. Not the letter – the stats. Perhaps the most hilarious signatory to the letter is Matthew Flinders of Flinders University. Unless the university website has another Matthew Flinders listed as an active member, our esteemed explorer seems to have navigated his way back to life…simply adding to the total lack of credibility of the cabal of 268 academics who believe they have some sort of intellectual superiority over us. If one ever wanted proof of our judiciary leaning hard left, 12% of the people that signed this document were in law-related fields. Eerily, over 90% of the signatories do not appear to be renowned experts in teaching science, much less climate science.

The Inclusive Communications Task Force at the Colorado State University has introduced an appropriate language guide and it has deemed the words “America” and “Americans” might prove offensive to some and have discouraged their use on campus.

Dr. Aaron Brough of Utah State University conducted the study to see if there is a correlation between toxic masculinity and climate change. His assumptions ran the line that men see environmentalism as more feminine and get triggered if forced to make ecological choices if they feel threatened.

The government-funded University of Melbourne allows an artistic performance that requires “paying” white customers access on the basis of signing an acknowledgement of white privilege.

Don’t miss the posters put up by the University of San Francisco which pointed out how to spot privilege.

A Michigan State University religious studies professor Shreena Gandhi has claimed that white people who do yoga contribute to a “system of power, privilege, and oppression… White Americans should learn yoga’s history, acknowledge the cultural appropriation they engage in and possibly reduce the cost of yoga classes for poor people, a group that often includes people of colour and recent immigrants, such as Indian women to whom this practice rightfully belong.”

According to the BBC, it was. The UK taxpayer-funded broadcaster is buying into this hypothesis that the CIA may have been too “white” and not diverse enough to spot the terrorist activity around September 11, 2001. Weren’t the whites that founded the agency in 1947 the same thinkers who had the nous to use “diversity” (Navaho Native Americans) to devastating effect to transmit sensitive information during WWII?

We could go on and on – but you get the drift.

There have been some good wins from those that have stood up for their beliefs.

Chik-fil-A, refused to back down on its Christian beliefs that the store was founded on.  It is now the fastest-growing fast-food chain in America.

Adani has said things are progressing just fine.

FedEx told customers that it didn’t like guns but wasn’t getting involved in boycotting NRA loyal customers after the Parkland shooting.

NRA membership searches surged 4900% the week after the Parkland shooting as people valued their 2A rights.

What a surprise in today’s academia. Three scholars—James Lindsay, Helen Pluckrose, and Peter Boghossian—wrote 20 fake papers using fashionable politically correct jargon (wrt gender equality, white supremacy, LGBTQI) and developed ridiculous conclusions with the aim of placing these ‘peer-reviewed’ pieces in high-profile journals. At the time of exposing the hoax 7 journals succeeded in being published, 7 were in the approvals process

This growing intolerance and failure to respect alternative opinions. Instead of openly debating Läderach on how normal the overwhelming majority of LGBT people are, do lobby groups honestly believe shouting them down, using acid, shaming and boycotting will somehow win them over? Not in a million years.

Worryingly, a CIS study in Australia showed that 58% of millennials had a favourable view of socialism. Unfortunately, 51% did not know who Chairman Mao was. Another 32% did not know Stalin and 42% hadn’t heard of Lenin. If we combine with “know but not familiar” with “don’t know” we see almost 80%, 66% and 74% respectively. Oh, how wonderful to learn in school about three men whose social policies led to the deaths of 10s of millions.

Silence is consent. As Orwell said, “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act!

The evil plastic industry?

Sadly a post from a former competitor spoke of how no plastic is ‘guilt free’. CM simply replied “all plastic CM uses is 100% guilt free”. Worse, there was an absurd assertion that the plastic industry was going out of its way to keep polluting the world. Is it?

Basically she’s going to have to give everything up. Her credit cards are plastic. No doubt most of her car interior, toys and utensils for her young child contain a lot of plastic. Same for the toothbrush, iPhone,iPad, laptop, desktop and TV.

The article from The Intercept showed the reality of plastic. When the Chinese stopped recycling the world’s plastic waste in 2017 it only proved how far down the cost curve plastic has become.

Think about it. Plastic is one of the most versatile, practical, strong and flexible materials that can be produced at really low cost. The reason why China doesn’t recycle the world’s waste is that it’s not cost effective. If it was they’d still do it. The Chinese didn’t stop it because they felt pangs of “guilt”.

Speaking of guilt. No sooner had the virtue signaling at Coles & Woolworths supermarkets started, both launched plastic toy series to encourage kids to collect the full set.how many plastic bags in one mini shop or ooshie? While shopping the other day. A kindergarten was doing trip to the super market in hi-vis jackets. The store manager handed all the kids a plastic bag full of goodies. Great PR. Hopefully the teachers won’t confuse the kids while teaching the alphabet that plastic is evil and they must feel guilty.

In 2006 the UK Environment Agency did a study on the effectiveness of alternative packaging solutions to HDPE (conventional plastic bags) in terms of lowering environmental impact. It said,

The paper, LDPE, non-woven PP and cotton bags should be reused at least 3, 4, 11 and 131 times respectively to ensure that they have lower [impact] than conventional HDPE carrier bags that are not reused.”

So if conventional biodegradable plastic shopping bags are used to throw out garbage that means 6, 8, 22 and 262 days.

The plastic industry isn’t fighting to pollute the world. Laziness in its disposal is the problem.

60% of mismanaged plastic waste was from East Asia (i.e. China), 11% from South Asia; 9% from sub-Saharan Africa; 8% from MENA; 7% from LatAm; 3% from Europe and 0.9% from North America. Australia doesn’t even get a mention. Our impact is zero.

If all else fails, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has the answers on plastic use.

Chick-Fil-A becomes 3rd largest fast food chain

Despite progressives trying to boycott the Chick-fil-A food chain because the Southern Baptist COO Dan Cathy publicly opposed same-sex-marriage, American consumers have turned it into the 3rd largest fast-food chain after McDonalds and Starbucks. Store numbers have doubled and revenues tripled over the last decade.

Chick-fil-A states it’s mission is, “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.”

Chick-fil-A is notable by its closure on Sundays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. So people are well aware ofthis corporate backing its religious beliefs.

CM has always rejected corporates pushing political and societal agendas. To that end they live and die by the sword. In Gillette’s case it was forced towrite down the long term value of the brand due to its toxic masculinity campaign driven by virtue signaling. In Chick-fil-A’s case it seems that customers think the product offering has always been backed by true beliefs from its inception. It’s a big difference.

Some may argue CM is making a doublestandard. Wrong. Chick-fil-A was founded form the beginning on its core beliefs. It was on the menu (pun intended).Gillette on the other hand thought trying to tell customers to be mindful about their toxic masculinity from a position of sponsoring a racing car series with its logo emblazoned across the backsides or super models was not. They thought being woke would win business. In fact it cost them a bundle.

Truth be told, most people probably just want a chicken sandwich and Chick-fil-A don’t ram religious beliefs on their burger wrappers.Gillette’s customers probably just want to shave without being told they shouldn’t be men.

There is a sense of irony that Democrat Party protesters still fail to get. Boycotting business doesn’t work very well. In fact the opposite could well be true. This is a picture from the front of In-N-Out burgers on Sept 2, the day after Democrat activists called for a boycott for the fast food chain donating $25,000 to the GOP in California. Why didn’t they protest and call for a boycott when the same burger chain donated $30,000 to the GOP in 2016 and again in 2017? Shouldn’t they be embarrassed for their inconsistency? Perhaps they could thank the burger chain for reducing the size of the donation? One thing is for sure Democrats need to make blue caps with ‘MAKE ACTIVISM GREAT AGAIN”

When people boycotted the NRA post the Florida school shooting, membership surged. It seems more Americans are growing tired of this constant harassment.

There is a pattern from boycotts. People can decide for themselves if they abhor such donations. They don’t require a bunch of idle pot smoking basement dwellers to yell at them and tell them how to spend their hard earned dollars.

Even in Australia, activists called for a boycott of supermarket chain Coles for reintroducing plastic bags to convenience customers. Despite studies by the UK Environment Agency which showed that man made reusable “eco bags” we’re told are so green would have to be used 286x to match the environmental footprint of the single use HDPE disposable shopping bags they replaced. If people dispose of rubbish in these same bags (using them twice) then the eco bags would be required to be used 572x to offset the environmental impact. Ironically if people can’t use such bags for their rubbish they’re forced to buy plastic bags off the shelf to do so meaning plastic consumption is neutral, not reduced.

As these activists conjure up new schemes to makes us feel bad they probably do so sipping a latte from Starbucks in a paper cup. The cost to recycle the 500 billion (and rising) coffee cups consumed annually is so astronomical (it is hard to separate the wax that stops the cup disintegrating because of the energy intensity involved to do so) that over 90% end up in landfill. No one talks about that 300 million tons of virgin paper used to make these cups! How many of us give it one thought when we need a shot of caffeine? Right?! Although Starbucks is trialing a 5p latte levy for those that elect to use a paper cup. In any event no protest.

Boycotting businesses seems to help their fortunes so keep up the good work! Perhaps they should work it into being a platform policy such is the unbridled success

Starbucks works harder to alienate customers

7DE96057-6A10-4719-9B7E-D2878CAE54AD

This sort of in your face political correctness propaganda is becoming too much. Starbucks closed 8,000 stores on Tuesday and reached out to activists and bias training experts to put a curriculum together for its 175,000 workers to prevent “unconscious bias ”

While training staff is never a bad thing, do the human resources/ PR department at Starbucks honestly think that explicitly educating white people about their racism (if it truly exists on any scale to warrant the conscious bias based indoctrination) will do anything other than alienate more customers? What a smear on the majority of clientele and staff who no doubt exercise decency when transacting their skim milk doubleshot latte.

CM had an interesting chat earlier this year with a senior manager of a global corporation. He was recruiting but was told by his HR department that there is a risk he might have ‘unconscious bias.’ In order to mitigate those fears HR blanks out anything it deems might trigger it. Think of wartime correspondence from the front line to families at home.

Unsurprisingly he takes such things as a slight on his own character. That despite two decades of loyal service the company all of a sudden deems his judgement (which til then was never called into question) as something to regulate.

The irony of modern HR departments is that they seem to go out of their way to find out every detail on gender, race, religion and disability during the application process in order to enforce their own ‘conscious bias’.

Welcome to HR which is fast becoming the Ministry of Truth in Orwell’s 1984.

Bosch Japan celebrates diversity in the kitchen

419C95B1-7517-4928-ACBA-2D8DCFAE27F9.jpeg

“In order to create a diverse environment, we first begin to understand!”

Hello! from the Bosch, Public Relations team!
From this week, the Bosch Japan group begins with the diversity of the country’s food in the dining room at each office factory.

This is a part of the initiative of ” Diver City Day which is widely expanded around the global Bosch group.

The aim of the initiative is to have a new approach and its own ideas, and to be able to respond to a variety of customer needs, and eventually the company’s success will lead to the success of the company.

We want to build a variety of HR initiatives in order to create more diverse environments in the future!

What is this obsession with corporates feeling compelled to ram “diversity” down staff throats? Why not just serve foreign cuisine and let staff enjoy it? They’ll notice it. Stick a Thai flag in the meal if need be to denote where it is from.  Why not let them provide feedback of their own volition? Will the workers all of a sudden feel after eating Egyptian cuisine that their customers at Mazda are in need of Arabic on their diesel pumps? Why not secretly record lunchtime conversations to ensure staff are “on message” otherwise force them to do hours on end of appropriate workplace behavior classes? Did the diversity brigade in the kitchen consider that Jews or Muslim staff (if any in Japan) can’t eat pork? Lest they be offended.

Bosch is an auto parts manufacturer which in Japan would serve predominantly Japanese customers. Will diversity rally the troops to higher levels of excellence? Completely immeasurable. Will Bosch customers select them on the cost performance of their products or pay premiums because the staff canteen serves chicken satay and tacos?

Indeed if Bosch HR & PR think they have a diversity problem that requires remedying through the kitchen then perhaps we should question their substandard hiring practices that allowed such bigots on the factory floor in the first place. Seriously, if they feel that staff are so out of touch that they require re-education, why not waste more money on internal indoctrination. Bosch be warned – virtue signaling can backfire.

Look how well things have gone for Starbucks preaching their virtuous side. Now staff are concerned their seating areas/bathrooms (now open to all after bending to social pressure based on something they were well within their rights to do) will be open to homeless people or drug addicts looking for a place to shoot up. So in order to appeal that the coffee chain is of higher moral standing they’ll happily trade alienating paying customers to achieve it. Lunacy. By that measure every corporate office should open their amenities to anyone. How shameful they put their businesses before humanity.

Maybe Bosch should look to hire based on diversity rather than quality of engineering talent. You can be sure that’s won’t lead to “success of the company”. Quite the opposite. Note Bosch is sponsoring these ads on social media. Pathetic. It is sort of like those people that profess their love and happiness endlessly on social media. So lacking in confidence are they in their partners that they feel safer telling the world instead of the one that matters.

Starbucks caffeinates its employees

08D40953-E927-4DE8-AD0E-29FFF14904F9.jpeg

Starbucks loves to serve its politics up with its bitter brew but once tax cuts are causing even the biggest virtue signaling corporation to serve its employees with an “extra shot” with whipped cream.

From the Seattle Times,

All employees will soon be able to earn paid sick time off, and the company’s parental leave benefits will include all non-birth parents. Starbucks Corp. said Wednesday that the changes affect about 150,000 full-time, part-time, hourly and salaried employees, most of whom work as baristas or shop managers. The new benefits apply to workers at more than 8,200 company-owned stores but not at the 5,700 licensed shops like those found inside supermarkets…The company will give at least $500 worth of Starbucks stock in April to employees at stores, support centers or bean roasting plants. Store managers will get $2,000 in stock grants.

Staring at the dictator

IMG_0207.JPG

I read an FT article today and questioned why I paid $300 for a subscription. The author, most certainly Jewish, wrote about how we should remember our recent history when it comes to Trump. As someone descending from the same faith I find the moral equivalence irrational and irresponsible. It all stems back to the victimhood culture which is at the very root of what divides. When President Trump simply enacted the identical policy of vetting seven countries selected by President Obama the outrage showed the height of double standards. Is it a pleasant topic? No. Still had Obama done it how they would have cheered his bravery and leadership. Almost 60% of Americans polled by Rasmussen approved of Trump’s vetting process. Period.Yet media reports nothing but tired narrative.

During the election campaign, the majority of group thinkers totally dismissed Trump as a credible candidate. He was very open about his policies and made no politically correct overtones. He was crass, brutal and direct. No mincing of words. In the three debates he made exactly the same statements. The public was well forewarned. Had people who were gravely concerned of a Hitler-esque dictator potentially ruining their lives taken their own constitutional rights responsibly they could have easily got to a polling booth and voted to guarantee Hillary Clinton romped home. They didn’t. They have themselves to blame. Instead they ranted about the popular vote which is irrelevant because everybody knows it is decided by the electoral college system. Then they tried to force a recount and when that failed they tried to coerce those in charge of the voting in the electoral college to see reason and vote against their constituents wishes. However not once did they accept that they were 100% responsible for their own fate. What arrogance to try to force some sort of intellectual superiority over these bigoted white fools. However these supposed white bigoted fools were not swayed by propaganda. At the very least they were getting sick and tired of the liberal left constantly throwing barbs at them. If you call someone an idiot to their face long enough they will shut down and reply to your inability to listen at the ballot box. You are still not listening though.

To turn the argument on its head, had these same people not fallen for the type of propaganda concocted by their own biased mainstream media and understood the underlying issues really affecting heartland America they may have paid attention to Trump’s spot on the money analysis. Instead they stuck to the narrative churned out by the White House echo chamber that the great chief Obama helped put 15 million ( a dubious figure) back to work post the ‘Great Recession’ ignoring the fact that he also added 10 million (+33%) more Americans to the poverty lines. Was it all his fault? No. Did he have obstruction in Congress? To a degree. However we must not forget that Obama was responsible for passing more pieces and pages of regulation than any president in history. Obama also used executive orders with regularity. Suffice to say had his ‘legacy’ been so pitch perfect, the same bigoted white voters that twice put him in power had the opportunity of continuing it in the form of Hillary Clinton who offered the status quo. However among the 48 million Americans now on food stamps a growing number realized Obama was a failed experiment. He highlighted that career politicians were no different regardless of partisan politics. That under his leadership, America became even more divided. Even the hard line Farrakhan launched an explosive speech about how Obama had totally let down his people. Yet there was Obama at an African-American black tie dinner reprimanding the audience that if they didn’t vote for Hillary they’d insult his legacy. When I heard that the first thing that came to mind was the fact he was insulting them for it was indeed they in large part who supported him in the first place. A debt of gratitude might have been far more appropriate.

I’ll be the first to admit that President Trump is unconventional which at the same time can be unsettling for many. However he has done nothing but enact upon very publicly announced election promises in very short order. Yet, the victimology goes on. The irresponsible mainstream media that has learnt nothing went out of their way to paint an ‘anti-Muslim’ narrative which was not written in the executive order had many even bothered to properly read the document. Trump the Nazi they protested. However if people actually knew their history, the Nazis made best efforts to stop Jews, Gypsies and Roma from ‘exiting’ not ‘entering’. Think of the Warsaw ghetto in the1940s. The Final Solution was much to do with concentrating these populations in order to commit mass genocide. I have visited Dachau, Sachsenhausen, Bergen Belsen, Theresienstadt, Treblinka, Majdanek, Sobibor, Auschwitz-Birkenau and I’ve read extensively on that period because my own family escaped Poland in 1931 to flee anti-Semitic sentiment. I have wept at the photo of 5yo Renia Kohn (pictured below) who was exterminated at Birkenau. I have tried for over a decade to trace the genealogy of my great grand-mother whose surname, Immergluck, is the same as two of the survivors of Schindler’s List. They came from the same town in Poland. So many records were destroyed given 90% of Polish Jews were murdered so it is personal, make no mistake. Making links to dictatorship and oppression is something that I take great interest in refuting without proper evidence.

IMG_0200.JPG

It is a deep sense of wanting to understand my own history. I have even read Mein Kampf cover to cover to get inside what drove Hitler’s megalomania. Trump has nothing of the mindset although the disrespectful media is now running a narrative that his hair growth tonic has mental disorder as a side effect. Seriously, people wish to read such ridiculous click bait? How can people put any faith in anything published by WaPo, NY Times and CNN with any level of authority especially given the abysmal track record in the lead up to the election.

Here is the bigger problem. The ones complaining of a dictatorship are the ones creating this toxic environment. For publicly beating up people who wear Trump hats. Even if these people are on the fringe. Why do these people wear masks? Own your protest because hiding behind a mask means you actually know you are doing wrong. Burning flags? Why do they destroy Starbucks stores when the CEO is on their side of victim based identity politics? Isn’t that an own goal? The problem with the liberal regressive left is that they have no capacity to listen. If you do not fit their narrative you are a bigot, racist or white trash. They seldom if ever open themselves up to alternative views.

To make that point, Nancy Pelosi exposed the pathetic level of the agenda at the time of the immigration executive order. She was caught on a hot-mic saying to a Democrat congressman Andre Carson “tell them you are a Muslim. Tell them you are a Muslim.” Had Carson thought personally as a Muslim that it was relevant to the discussion and his personal grief, surely he would have raised it unsolicited. That Pelosi had to goad him proves how hard regressives have to push an agenda which is the reason why Trump is in office. A growing number of Americans have got tired of identity politics. They want jobs and a sustainable future not spend countless hours debating transgender bathrooms, non-gender military titles and being forced to surrender their culture to somehow attain some sense of state-sponsored acceptance. If we keep pushing the “poor me” line on every issue we’ll get nowhere.

It is the growing numbers of impoverished that want their country turned around. They fear that open borders and boundless refugee intakes cut those odds. It is NOT racist or bigoted. The responsibility of any sovereign nation is to look after its citizens first. Period. If Canada wants to talk about “diversity is our strength” then all power to them. Yet the day after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he’d take anyone rejected in the US into Canada, a lone-wolf shot up a mosque in Quebec. The media’s first hook – Trump supporter, the insinuation that he was a fair representation of the majority not the minority. Disgusting. What a smear. He isn’t even American so he is not legally allowed to vote (are you listening sanctuary cities?) so whether he likes Trump or Le Pen is completely irrelevant. I think Trudeau is the epitome of identity politics but he was democratically voted in by Canadians and I am happy to accept that fact. My opinion of Trudeau is irrelevant.

However when Trump berated my Prime Minister Turnbull, my opinion does matter. I believe Trump was correct. When our Obama fawning selfie obsessed Turnbull decided to cut a deal on refugees with him a week after Trump won the election that was plain stupid. He knew full well that Trump would never have allowed it under normal circumstances so undermining a future leader with the self belief he’d carry the weight of world opinion was poor judgement.

Additionally Obama’s last months in office highlighted his true colours. Things he could have easily achieved in his 8 years in office were rushed through in some kind of bucket list to stifle Trump. How unpatriotic. I doubt George W Bush tried in his last days to stuff Obama. What did Obama do? Did the deal with Turnbull, threw Israel under a bus and signed a check for $211mn dollars for Palestine. While you can argue he still was the president at the time, there is no excuse for laying landmines in the White House lawn to humiliate your successor. I was always taught that how you leave a job is far more important than how you join. I believe his legacy is a mere fraction of what he is praised for but his last days were built on spite, Watching him on comedy TV programs during the election campaign showed his total arrogance, patting himself on the back at every turn. His loss was not just because Clinton had been selected by the DNC as the chosen one, it was a repudiation of his failures to restore America.

Some people are complaining at Trump’s heavy handed treatment of Attorney General Sally Yates. What she did was insubordination. It is irrelevant what her political views were. Trump was not breaking laws. Her job is to follow the boss says on a legal basis not inject her personal feelings. Sacking her was 100% correct. If he’d broken the law then I’d be sympathetic. As he wasn’t she got served. Had she defied Obama we wouldn’t have heard the end of it. Such is the nature of identity politics that the side matters more than the principle.

The same goes for public websites and Twitter feeds sponsored by the tax-payer. The employees of these government agencies may hold personal opinions that conflict with the President but it is not a violation of free-speech for him to ban them venting on taxpayer funded media. If you think it is then I implore you to send a company wide email telling your boss that his policies are stupid and see how long your last. Insubordination and free speech are different,

Back to the immigration ban. Celebrities and protesters ganged up on Uber for offering a freeze on surge pricing to help their customers alleviate the stress of delays at JFK. Instead of allowing a company to exercise sensible commercial business practice, protesters and celebrities (who most likely ride in private limos) launched a #deleteuber campaign. For what? A company chooses not to get involved in your affairs and you choose to punish them. How regressive is that. Such is the level of hatred and bloody-mindedness, Uber’s CEO has stepped down from Trump’s business council. Even evangelical Elon Musk who is on the same board has had a wave of customers cancel Tesla Model 3 orders because they object to him serving his country. Instead of regressives looking at such an appointment as a way to perhaps bring Trump to a more even keel, they put so much pressure on Uber’s CEO that he resigned for the sake of his stakeholders. How conditional are liberals for love of country? Ask yourself who is causing division?  Companies can’t act commercially for fear of being attacked? Sorry who is behaving in a fascist fashion? What about 1st in SEO CEO’s brash statement of asking his staff divulge whether they voted for Trump and to resign if they did, not to mention demanding the same from their customers. What has voting preference have to do with ability? Nothing yet the regressive left prove their intolerance.

Then the same type of people light fires and beat people unconscious for wanting to listen to a speech by Milo Yiannopoulos, They call an outwardly gay white man with a black boyfriend a white supremacist, Get real. He is a provocateur for sure but he does often make lucid points worth making albeit done in a poison tongue fashion. Yet because he doesn’t tow the victimology playbook he is vilified as a hate-preacher. Hello?

So while I read reams of social media posts about Trump and co’s Nazism I say take a long deep look at reality and stop the over-dramatization. It isn’t just Trump. Brits got tired of the incompetence of the EU and feared a future of having to kowtow to a supranational body of unelected officials. Brits weren’t racist or bigoted. They sent a message that politicians need to wake up and take care of problems at home before searching for noble misguided causes to cover up domestic issues. The guy and girl on Main St aren’t stupid. They’re hurting and tired of having rosy stats thrown in their face when they’re living harsh reality all the while those who espouse stats are chewing on $100 steaks.

The regressives must wake up and understand the very people they proclaim to protect aren’t listening anymore. They are tired of hand outs and freebies. They are sick of protests and the inconveniences caused by it. They want a future again. They want to live in a manner which doesn’t cause panic at the end of the month when the overdraft arrives. Make America Great Again wasn’t a catchy slogan but a deep down desire for a growing number of Americans to feel proud of their nation once again. So grow up and stop your victim culture at every turn. Judge Trump on his merits. Stop dividing your country and actually see what Trump is trying to do. The guy is a billionaire. Saying he is just pandering to his billionaire mates is a lame attack. Look at Clinton or Obama and their advisories had stacks of Wall Streeters. Look how many Dems voted against cheaper drugs coming from Canada because they had their snouts in Big Pharma’s trough.

I honestly think for all the bravado and noise behind Trump the biggest flattery to his ego would be to succeed in turning his country around. Nothing would give his Twitter fingers more joy than to succeed legitimately and have his fellow country men and women actually credit him with it, You’ll never get that from the mainstream media but be prepared for a second term if his health holds out. Of course the media will tell you its impossible but why put stock in their predictions when they have such a terrible track record on understanding voters. By the way your protests and demonstrations are actually pissing off the very people you think you’re representing and your dictatorial style is exactly what you accuse Trump of. On second thoughts don’t look at yourselves in the mirror. Your inability to change is exactly why he’ll win a second term. Keep up the good work! You’ve earned it!

Why trash Starbucks or BoA?

IMG_9285.JPG

It doesn’t surprise me to see ignorant people take a free opportunity to needlessly destroy public and private property but perhaps intolerant liberals should be given a fact sheet to stop them kicking own goals, especially corporations that actually support their causes.

Take Starbucks, which often flaunts its progressive policies on customers. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz loves to make its customers swallow political views along with its burnt brew. They ditched Christmas cups for red cups and introduced unity cups ahead of the election. I really wish corporates would butt out of politics. When I buy any product I just want the good inside the packet. I don’t pay for a company to sell me (even if for free) their beliefs. Their mission statement is as follows.

OUR VALUES

With our partners, our coffee and our customers at our core, we live these values:

Creating a culture of warmth and belonging, where everyone is welcome.

Acting with courage, challenging the status quo and finding new ways to grow our company and each other.

Being present, connecting with transparency, dignity and respect.

Delivering our very best in all we do, holding ourselves accountable for results.

We are performance driven, through the lens of humanity.

Whichever way you cut it why did masked disgruntled liberals smash up the home side?

Same for Bank of America. The Clinton Foundation was a major recipient of Wall St donations , including BoA. So why smash its windows?

Legitimate protests have a place when conducted peacefully and legally. Yes, protests require a permit to ensure public safety and allow police to plan resources.

Vandalism is what it is. Regardless of how much they may hate all that Trump stands for elections are won and lost democratically by the electoral college system. Whether Clinton had 3mn more votes is irrelevant- that is the same as saying a gridiron team made more yards but lost where it mattered on the scoreboard. When they wear masks to hide their identity there can only be one rational reason for it. To create havoc. Of course were they true believers in their cause of ‘love trumps hate’ or ‘when they go low, we go high’ they’d gladly show their faces as the true moral high ground crusaders they purport to be. Sadly their true colours were on display and even more telling they have no concept of what they’re attacking.
