Senator Schumer leads charge to boycott ACB confirmation

How ironic that the US Constitution isn’t acceptable to Senate Democrats when it doesn’t suit them. Chuck Schumer said that his side of the aisle intend to boycott the Senate confirmation of SCOTUS replacement, Amy Coney Barrett.

We think that Schumer’s words reflect more on the Democrats than the Republicans. Politics, politics, politics. They aren’t fooling anyone.

Oh, the sanctimony squad strikes again

Oh, the sanctimony. 88 faculty colleagues at Notre Dame co-signed a letter requesting Judge Amy Coney Barrett halt her confirmation process and step aside til after the election.

It would have helped if among those 88 erudite academics, that one might be from the law faculty. Alas, among those who signed the letter criticizing Barrett, 4 were gender studies professors, 4 were peace studies professors, 9 specialized in English and another 7 were librarians. None from the Notre Dame Law School.

This follows a pattern we have reported on before where left leaning academics/activists pass off high numbers of co-signatories as a sort of validation process. Closer analysis reveals how often the very people who would make these letters credible are often conspicuously absent.

We list some of them here:

1) Remember 11,000 cosignatories to a non-peer reviewed paper on climate change that included Mickey Mouse and Albus Dumbledore?

2) Or the Feb 2020 Safe Climate Declaration which hosted 100 speakers of which less than 5% were climate scientists. Most were from academia, media and high schools.

3) Or the 268 cosignatories of an open letter in support of Extinction Rebellion (XR). Perhaps the most hilarious signatory to the letter was Matthew Flinders. Our esteemed explorer seemed to have navigated his way back to life after 200 years.

4) Or the the sanctimonious video made by the World Mental Health Coalition (WMHC) where all members co-signed the case for Trump’s lack of mental capacity. Sounds impressive using “world”, doesn’t it? Given the World Psychiatric Association represents 200,000 members worldwide, WHMC’s 37 members seems rather pathetic by comparison. Be sure to read how they were prepared to ditch their Hippocratic oath to smear Trump.

5) The liberal artists who caved so soon after signing a letter condemning cancel culture.

Merriam Webster dictionary updates use of word ‘sexual preference’ after Democrat Senators disparage ACB

You have to hand it to the Stalinists running the Merriam-Webster dictionary. As soon as Democrat Senators Mazie Hirono and Cory Booker disparaged Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett for using the term ‘sexual preference‘ as an “offensive” term it updated its online definition accordingly.

Senator Hirono remarked, “You use the term sexual preference to describe those in the LGBTQ community…Let me make clear: ‘sexual preference’ is an offensive, an outdated term. It is used by anti-LGBTQ activists to suggest that sexual orientation is a choice. It is not.

Naturally, ACB said she never used the term in a pejorative manner.

It reminds us of the scene from 1984 when Winston’s friend Syme says,

A word contains its opposite in itself. Take ‘good,’ for instance. If you have a word like ‘good,’ what need is there for a word like ‘bad’? ‘Ungood’ will do just as well…

…The Revolution will be complete when the language is perfect. Newspeak is Ingsoc and Ingsoc is Newspeak.”

It wasn’t so long ago that The Guardian‘s editors openly encouraged journalists to amplify language when referencing ‘climate change’.

Double plus good.

More lefty lunacy over SCOTUS nominee

These people have absolutely no shame.

Democrats target new SCOTUS nominee’s adopted kids

When Democrats can’t pin a sexual harassment charge on a conservative SCOTUS nominee as they did with Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh, just make awful accusations that the upcoming nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, illegitimately adopted two Haitian kids.

That’s what former staffer and Democrat activist Dana Houle decided to do. This brave keyboard warrior tweeted (and deleted) the disgraceful smear in the picture above.

Never mind that in the 2017 in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Barrett said of one of those adopted kids, “Vivian is our miracle.” She was so ill when they adopted her at 14 months of age that doctors doubted she would ever walk or speak. “Today Vivian is a track star, and I assure you she has no trouble talking.”

Maybe Houle was inspired by the Newsweek article that sought to disparage her religious beliefs. The magazine ended up retracting its baseless attack.

Don’t these lunatics realize they are actually helping the monster they created to do another four years?

As we continue to say, the Democrats are making the best possible argument as to exactly why they are far from a credible alternative.

Leave the kids out of it.

Senate Supreme Court smear of Clarence Thomas in 1991

Back in 1991, Judge Clarence Thomas was nominated by George Bush Sr to fill a vacancy on the SCOTUS bench.

The Democrat-controlled Senate took to a smear campaign dug up by staffers alleging Thomas had engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with Anita Hill, someone he worked with a decade prior.

Suffice to say Anita Hill was subject to a detailed grilling over her sordid allegations and such was the humiliation, the other two key witnesses declined to subject themselves to the same treatment.

The Senate Judiciary Committee chairman was Joe Biden.

Politics is a dirty business. One wonders what dirt will be dished up for the coming nominee?!!

Newsweek smears Amy Coney Barrett then retracts

Who knew?

Such is the level of derangement consuming the mainstream media that Newsweek decided to smear one of Trump’s SCOTUS candidates, Amy Coney Barrett (ACB), before being forced to retract its statements.

Initially Newsweek smeared the judge with the accusation of belonging to a Catholic sect, ‘People of Praise‘ that “inspired” the dystopian novel “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

The magazine suggested that female members are forced to report to spiritual superiors known as “handmaids” with the assertion that “men have authority over their wives.”

Newsweek wrote the following retraction:

Correction: This article’s headline originally stated that People of Praise inspired ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’. The book’s author, Margaret Atwood, has never specifically mentioned the group as being the inspiration for her work…A New Yorker profile of the author from 2017 mentions a newspaper clipping as part of her research for the book of a different charismatic Catholic group, People of Hope. Newsweek regrets the error.

Instead of focusing on her comfortable bipartisan confirmation by the Senate based on solely on merit and credentials, it had to smear a candidate being put forward by Trump.

Victory Loves Preparation

Victory loves preparation.

Has it occurred to these activists masquerading as journalists that WH Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is always thoroughly prepared?

To be honest, they make her job so simple. She knows that the left leaning media will ignore any successes of the administration and just focus on their chronic Trump Derangement Syndrome.

This video borders on masochism. One by one she wrecks the lot of them. If only they’d focus on seeking balance. The latest game is completing their edited quotes and turning them back on the clickbait brigade.

It is almost worth re-electing Trump just to watch this blood sport. Reality TV couldn’t invent this clown show.
