Who knew? California required no signature verification in the November presidential election but now require it for the recall of Gov Gavin Newsom because of his utter failure as a leader during coronavirus.

As we have been saying for a while now, if the Democrats won the election, states would start lifting lockdown restrictions now that Trump was out of the way.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says she wants to make racially motivated 911 calls hate crimes. It is already against the law to make false police or 911 calls. So why the need for such legislation?
Will that law apply if a white burglar breaks into the home of a person of colour? Will the coloured occupants be guilty of a hate crime if they call to say the white criminal is endangering their lives?
Or is this just a cynical ploy to ensure the recall petition (to oust Whitmer) – which requires 1,062,647 valid signatures in a 60-day window over the next 180 days to qualify for the statewide ballot – fails? Hmmm.
