Media response to same comment made by Trump & Biden

As ever the media left out the context of the conversation with Bob Woodward which was that Trump “didn’t want people to panic” when it deliberately edited the comment to say that he “downplayed the virus.”

Trump said virtually the same thing in an April 2020 press conference at the White House. Why no outrage then? Ahh, because there is an election that needs narratives to switch away from riots, looting and civil unrest to a virus where deaths have been largely caused in Democrat run cities and states.

How strange that Joe Biden said in February, “it’s not a time to panic about coronavirus.

Orange man bad. Whatever Trump says is bad. Total silence about Biden. Who knew?

Perhaps the most telling display of “minimal panic” over coronavirus has been the behaviour of so many Democrat mayors, governors and members of congress who have broken so many of the laws they proclaim is so dangerous for the people who elected them. Surely if there was a need to panic, these politicians wouldn’t be sneaking off to get their hair blown out or reopen gyms inside public buildings while the rest are closed to the public.

CNN has been so worried about coronavirus that it made a point to admonish Trump for the lack of diversity on the response team.

Make no mistake, this will be 60 straight days of mudslinging. This type of muck will be churned out by the mainstream media non-stop in order to prevent Trump from reelection. Last week it was comments from anonymous sources that Trump had disparaged fallen soldiers as “suckers and losers.” Even John Bolton, who hates Trump, denied he ever said it and he was there. Had Trump mentioned it, what an explosive chapter for his book.

Who knew that 86% of people polled think that the media is divisive. The worst numbers in living memory.

Tech-savvy TikTok Teens troll Trump’s Tulsa Rally

Tulsa

Fair play. Trump’s team were hoodwinked by tech-savvy teens on Tik Tok who signed up to an open platform, for seats they never intended on taking. The campaign manager should have been aware of the threat of fake sign-ups. The 19,200 capacity BOK Stadium only managed to get 6,200 according to the local fire department. Hardly a failure in a COVID-19 world and certainly more successful than anything Biden can muster. But empty seats makes for poor optics. The mainstream media is in raptures as it can rerun the story to boost flagging ratings.

Even Korean K-Pop fans relished the opportunity to interfere in an election that is not their own. A bit rich given their country has lived under the blanket of US security for decades and the man they chose to humiliate has been the only US president to set foot in North Korea to try to get a dialogue going. Just shows how few know their history.

Amazing how politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the media celebrated the Korean trolls when they were apoplectic with rage over Russian bots in the lead up to the 2016 election.

The next rally Trump holds won’t fall for the same trap. While the media celebrates the idea that supposedly bursting Trump’s ego as a victory, his followers are only likely to return serve the next time. Who would blame Trump supporters for thinking 800,000 sign-ups in a city with a population half that size might make the journey to get a seat almost impossible given it was first come first served? Still. Facts are facts. The stadium was c. 1/3rd full.

Perhaps with a newfound confidence in thinking Trump’s armour has been breached, the Democrats should have no issues deploying Joe Biden to the debates to humiliate the president some more.

How the Democrats respond to this rally will be more telling than those that didn’t attend it. At the very least, former Obama administration National Security Advisor Susan Rice fired her first salvo by saying Trump and his supporters in the Senate hopefully end up in “the trashcan of history.

Note Rice did NOT say “his supporters”, but “supporters in the Senate” which the media on the right is incorrectly pushing.

Brad Pitt attacks GOP senators at Oscars

They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week…I’m thinking maybe Quentin does a movie about it — in the end, the adults do the right thing.”

Thanks Brad. If only the adults in Hollywood gave 45 seconds to stop the well known issues surrounding the Harvey Weinstein saga years before. These sorts of award ceremonies used to openly joke about Weinstein’s unethical antics.

Perhaps we should ponder why Adam Schiff didn’t call John Bolton as a witness during the Democrats own impeachment trial when they had the chance, especially after he blurted all over Twitter that he had the “backstory” evidence back on November 22nd, 2019.

The House voted 15th January 2020 to send articles to the Senate.

Outrage at the most predictable event in American history

Whatever outrage one wants to express over the rights and wrongs during the impeachment saga, it has been the most predictable event in American history.

There was no surprise that the Senate didn’t indulge the Democrats with more witnesses. For two reasons:

1) Partisan lines (don’t think for a second the Dems wouldn’t have done the same had they held a majority in the upper house). The GOP did play by the constitution in its rejection of witnesses. The Dems are the pot calling the kettle black given their actions in the House of Representatives;

2) the Democrats had all the time in the world to lengthen their own impeachment trial in the lower house to include any witnesses they chose – including Bolton. They didn’t, such was their wish to rush the trial (at least until Nancy’s pens arrived). Now it is convenient to point fingers at the GOP for not doing what it could have done itself was it to be thorough in the initial process. Is it the GOP’s fault for the sloppiness of its opponent?

It was no secret that Bolton intended to spill his version of the beans in his role as NSA director. He openly admitted as much on Twitter well before the House passed the articles of Impeachment to the Senate. The Democrats knew it. His tweets went viral. Why didn’t Schiff wait? They would have had their man in the witness box.

Politics is a dirty game. For all those that are complaining at the conduct of the GOP senators, they clearly weighed their re-election chances via their actions. At the moment, Trump’s re-election still looks assured, with the added insult Trump would technically be able to run in the 2024 election too, given a failed impeachment resets the clock.

The GOP have argued there was no victim, therefore no crime. We can play semantics til the cows come home but this trial was open and shut before it began. No surprises at all. Not lost on the American public either.

When the Washington Post ran an article on the 20th January 2017 which read,

The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun

the sinister campaign by the Democrats – who couldn’t believe Hillary wasn’t coronated – to find a way to remove Trump by any means started. Representatives like Maxine Waters were wailing “Impeach 45” well before the phone call with Ukraine. Rep Tlaib happily shouted “we’re gonna impeach the mother f@cker” when she won her seat. Well before the impeachment trial.

One has to wonder whether the Deep State goes to DEFCON 1 and tries more extreme measures to remove him. Let’s hope for all our sakes, no such event transpires.
