EU commissioned pandemic comic book scarily accurate

Infected

In 2012, the EU commissioned and published a comic book titled ‘Infected‘. It tells the tale of the magic of unelected globalists saving the world from a pandemic. It is eerily close to what we are experiencing today, apart from the fact that unelected globalists have bungled the response as evidenced by the resignation of the EU’s top scientist who criticised Brussel’s response to the Covid-19.

On page 3, the comic starts out inside a lab in China experimenting with deadly pathogens which have no cure. We are assured in the following pages as to the security, safety and surveillance measures in place to avoid any outbreak of a virus.

On page 5, a time traveller goes back to warn them of the catastrophe in the future caused by a pandemic. He seems to be wearing a suicide vest which actually holds vials of the vaccine which can save the planet.

On page 11, evil capitalists look at ways of exploiting the virus to profit from a pandemic. One individual working with an underworld group wants to sell the vaccine to the highest bidder among pharmaceutical manufacturers. He guns down the armed escort holding the captured time traveller (who was time warped inside the secure lab) to get hold of a test tube so they can sell it for mass manufacture.

On page 20, the comic sets the scene of an interview with the UN Special Envoy on Influenza, Pandemics, Food Security and MOI, Mr De La Mancha in a wet market in Asia. He tells a group of reporters that we can trace the origin of most pandemics back to animals which are then spread unknowingly by people jet-setting around the world.

Our fearless UN envoy is suddenly attacked by a monkey who scratches  his skin and infects him. Hours later he starts seeing the effects of the virus from his hotel room. De La Mancha knows he must ‘self-isolate.’ Unfortunately, before he could do so so it spread to the camera crew and journalists who flew home.

On page 35 our time traveller tells de la Mancha’s assistant, Chang Wenling, about the future where the media reports that the international health organisations failed to act quickly enough to prevent the spread.

On page 37 the comic book tells of how self-isolation led to depression and that after years of lockdown people started to break the law and meet up with each other.

Chang and the time traveller fly to Asia to find de la Mancha to give him the vaccine and he is saved. He reports back to the globalist bodies to convince them of his recovery. The globalists at the EU and UN then pat themselves on the back and talk of ‘One Health’ and the importance of it.

The High Representative for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy says to the journalists assembled,

One Health belongs to its actors and builds upon existing capabilities and resources: key political actors, UN technical agencies, the World Organisation for Animal Health, regional bodies, academia, development partners and others. Its success will depend on flexible networking…

One journalist questions the additional burden on the EU taxpayer. She replies,

One Health is not about adding an additional layer of external actions – which would indeed require additional funding. It is basically about working for health in a more integrated way and thinking differently at the policy-making and planning stage.

The comic ends with virologist Chang falling in love with the time traveller. She is heartbroken with the prospect that he must return back to where he came from soon only to learn that it was a one-way journey and that he’ll die before he was born. They embrace and kiss.

How strange that fiction in 2012 has turned out to be so real. Had the EU commissioned this comic in 2018, we can be assured the comic wouldn’t have been approved unless the time traveller had been non-binary asylum seeker instead of a a blonde haired, blue-eyed white hetero toxic male. Don’t scoff. Marvel Comics has already headed down the path of identity politics with its latest characters, Safespace and Snowflake.

30km/h speed limits will fix gender inequality

As part of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Australia is being asked to lower urban speed limits to 30km/h from 50km/h. At that speed, the new light rail project from Circular Quay to Randwick will feel like a bullet train by comparison.

Instead of looking forward and embracing automated driving and all manner of assisted driving technology (emergency braking, lane departure assist etc) the brains trust at the UN thinks progress on road safety will be achieved by looking solely in the rear view mirror.

Why not focus on mobile phone usage behind the wheel or stopping drug and drink driving? At 30km/h, these boneheads think fewer emissions will be emitted. Cars, like trains or aircraft become more efficient at certain speeds. Slower speeds don’t always lower emissions. Top Gear conducted a test where a BMW M3 high performance sports car was more fuel efficient than a Toyota Prius.

Forget all that, The Stockholm Declaration will call upon us to buy “safe and sustainable vehicle fleets” so we can address “the connections between road safety, mental and physical health, development, education, equity, gender equality, environment and climate change”.

Who knew driving at 30km/h could achieve so much? Lowering to zero would eradicate it, no doubt!

EU climate emergency vote is way worse than you think

What took the group thinking EU so long? What better way to justify more taxation and wealth redistribution than to declare a “climate emergency”? What you are about to read is a perfect explanation of how little credibility exists in the European Parliament (EuroParl).

In black and white, EuroParl noted,

EU countries should at least double their contributions to the international Green Climate Fund, Parliament says. EU member states are the largest providers of public climate finance and the EU’s budget should fully comply with its international commitments. They also note that pledges by developed countries do not meet the collective goal of 100 billion USD per year as of 2020…Finally, they urgently call on all EU countries to phase out all direct and indirect fossil fuel subsidies by 2020.

Now, this is where it gets curious. Take a look at this file (from page 8) and ask yourself, how many amendments to resolutions within the “climate emergency” conversation were rejected supporting the overall declaration passing 429 in favour, 215 against, 19 abstaining?

Here is one amendment that was rejected 95, 563, 9 by MEPs (you can’t make this stuff up),

Recalls that climate change is one of the many challenges facing humanity and that
all states and stakeholders worldwide must do their utmost to measure it
scientifically so that policy, and especially spending, is based on observable facts and not on apocalyptic fearmongering or unreliable models; emphasises that there is
no scientific consensus on what percentage of climate change is anthropogenic and
what percentage is natural

Seems fair enough! Basing decisions affecting 550 million constituents on real hard data is the right thing to do, no? Clearly not. Shut up and follow the religious cult and demand followers cough up twice as much into the collections pot. The lobbyists must be well pleased.

Or,

“Text as a whole without the words: ‘urgently’, ‘and implement’ and ‘to net-zero
emissions by 2050″ defeated 101, 555, 15.

Isn’t it striking that the majority of MEPs won’t even consciously vote in favour of making sure funds are spent appropriately? Nope, bow down and shut up. Otherwise face being cut off as we get to observe from the EuroParl documents below.

This is what an MEP from Northern Ireland, Claire Fox, had to say,

Madam President, I voted against the climate and environmental emergency motion because I’m really concerned at the hyped-up anti-science scaremongering that’s terrifying young people, telling them that billions will die, that there’ll be a collapse of civilisation, a lot of the rhetoric coming out of Extinction Rebellion and echoed in the debate over the last few days. I think that the fact that we voted against an amendment today that said that we should be committed to bringing the environmental subject back to rational discussion, and we rejected it, admits that actually, we’re having an irrational discussion. This becomes advocacy and propaganda, rather than science. There’s no scientific evidence from the IPCC or anyone else about the extinction of humanity, and we should be very careful about claiming that anthropological climate changes cause floods and droughts, which we have been doing quite casually during the last few days. In fact, the IPCC says that such issues are probably caused by socio-economic conditions, and we forget socio-economic conditions too much and demand, in fact, as this Parliament has done, decarbonisation, which will lead to eco-austerity, massive price hikes in energy, and ordinary working people paying the cost for scaremongering and...

(The President cut off the speaker)

or another Northern Irish MEP Robert Rowland,

Madam President, I’d just like to reiterate what my colleague said. I also rejected the COP24 resolution. I may not be an Economics Professor, but I do profess to understand economics. They also call it the dismal science, but when it comes to the climate emergency, I would describe the apocalyptic forecasts as nothing but science fiction. The adoption of these policies today, and the aim of carbon neutrality by 2050 is nothing short of reckless and the most extreme example of economic illiteracy I’ve ever seen. The fact that amendments were rejected demanding a full impact assessment shows rank indifference to the cost and practicality of aggressive climate policies.

One thing I can say for certain is that the impact of net-zero makes the consequence of any form of Brexit look puny by comparison. Dieter Helm, Professor of Energy and Economics at Oxford University, was right when he said: ‘We should be honest that it is a huge industrial undertaking, and it will have significant cost. These are enormous industrial activities, there is nothing in history that looks like this outside of wartime.

In my own country, our own Chancellor has put that cost at over one trillion pounds, or almost 2% of GDP per annum. It is an insane policy.

If the EU truly wishes to make itself even less competitive, in the face of some of the world’s highest electricity prices, they are only self-flagellating in an already flailing economy which continues to slow to 5-year lows. If the EU truly looked at its record since 2007, it would see its policies have delivered 40 million more people into poverty, a number which totals 118 million people, or 23% of the EU population!

If there was ever a bigger load of intellectual dishonesty posted by the EU it would be this. It states that,

Climate emergency declarations in 1,195 jurisdictions and local governments cover 545 million citizens with 53 million of those living in the United Kingdom. This means in Britain now roughly 80 per cent of the population lives in areas that have declared a climate emergency.

The irony if such a statement is that there is no way in the world that 545 million citizens are in agreement within those 1,195 jurisdictions. 53mn Brits? Seriously? In Australia’s case, many declaring climate emergencies have been local green-left councils who have made idle gestures without backing it up with realities. Constituents have not been asked. Windfarm plans for Warringah are not on the agenda.

The greatest irony with the EU is that they classify biomass (which is more polluting than coal) as a renewable and gives it a zero-carbon emission weighting provided a tree is planted per tree burnt. Sadly trees take 40 years to fully grow to be able to offset that produced. However, we will discover that the fine print taketh away the wonderful headlines.

Will the Poles ditch their coal industry to comply or face savage reprisals from Brussels? Will the EU guarantee Poland gets huge subsidies to pay for its termination? Which country would be so blind as to put their livelihoods into the hands of the EU!? The Greeks might have a view as do the Brits.

This action will spectacularly blow up.

By all means ride the short term wave of renewables stocks but be sure to line up all of those nasty fossil fuel companies into the portfolio that get pummeled by financial markets because the type of economic disaster that will beset the EU will only create the conditions where the peons will revolt and force a return to the way things were. Efficient, cheap and reliable forms of energy that will make a proper dent in the poverty line rather than promises and handouts.

The EU needs to learn the lesson that “Charity is injurious unless it helps the recipient to become independent of it.” It won’t be long before the youth of today get to embrace their love for socialism. Experience is a hard teacher. They’ll get the test first and the lesson afterwards.

Jacinda’s Way

NZ PM Jacinda Ardern is in Australia and unsurprisingly the media is giddy with delight. Before we have Lisa Wilkinson write another open letter to ScoMo, What a surprise the NZ PM kicked off her tour in the Democratic People’s Republic of Victoria alongside Chief Commissar Dan Andrews.

While her wellness budget has been sold as a savior, remember in Australia our current commitments in wellness already outweigh NZ’s on a per capita basis. Maybe that’s why 570,000 Kiwis live here and only 39,000 Aussies in NZ.

CM’s budget comparison can be found here.

Ted Lieu smears Owens as a supporter of Hitler but refuses right of reply

So true to form, Democrat House Rep from California Ted Lieu, tried to smear Candace Owens as a supporter of Hitler with an edited recording which took all context away from the question she was being asked of her.

Such was the circus, Lieu provided Owens no right of reply. It took another member of Congress to yield their time so she could answer.

More embarrassing was Chairman Jerry Nadler (D) incorrectly censuring her for calling Lieu “stupid” when in fact she questioned whether Rep Lieu “thought black people were stupid and would not pursue the full clip in its entirety.” She quipped it was OK for them to call her “despicable

So desperate are the Democrats looking to paint narratives of division that they only need to stare in the mirror to see where it is coming from. How could Lieu make the claim that he knew nothing about Owens yet managed to have an edited recording?

Even if his team supplied it, it would have made sense for the Rep to do his homework on the subject matter save him getting slapped down by the eloquence of Owens. She was right to call his refusal to allow a reply as telling as to she was to criticize him for being “unbelievably dishonest“.

Maybe Lieu might reflect on hate crime as reported by the FBI in his own community.

Anti-Asian hate crime has fallen from a peak of 527 in 1996 to 131 in 2017. In 2017, Asians were 0.00069% likely to suffer a hate crime relative to the Asian American population.

Oh, the irony

Oh the irony. Poor young Greta Thunberg was invited to speak at Davos. She may have wanted her audience to panic but it might have been better for her to focus outside her window on landing so she could see the utter hypocrisy of those she was addressing and their chosen mode of transport – 1,500 private jets.

Still, like the UN COP summit just past, we are supposed to believe that a 16yo has all the answers. Why go to university? What is the value in further education if a kid not even out of high school is smarter than all the adults in the room?

What a farce. The word “panic” says it all. It is hard to know who to believe. Thunburg? Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has only given us 12 years to live. Even The Pentagon wrote a report in 2003 that suggested by 2020 climate change would cause nuclear war, famine and natural disasters costing millions of lives. Not long to go til we get confirmation.

Down and out in Davos

Davos is likely to be unlike any gone before it. Lucky for the globalist elitists who like to rug up in mink collar lined Moncler down jackets, Trump won’t be there to verbal them over their blatant double standards. Ironically the fact he isn’t going is more evidence of their inability to self reflect rather than the other way around. Trump is hardly an eloquent mouthpiece at the best of times but his words and stance around nationalism resonate far wider than the €200 Chateau Briande chewing wealthy will be prepared to admit at Davos.

France. As the Gilets Jaune (Yellow Vest) movement rolls into week 9, where has the media been reporting it? Macron would normally attend the Davos mob as “the poster child” but he can’t because of the domestic situation. Should he show up to hug his globalist chums, the chaos at home would exacerbate. This is no small matter for the proponents of world government. We shouldn’t forget Marine LePen is polling higher than Macron. Nor should we overlook the fact she won 35% of the 2nd round vote, twice the level ever seen in the anti-EU Front National’s history.

Germany isn’t much better. Although Frau Merkel will be in Davos. Despite stepping down from the rotting carcass her policies have turned her party into, she’ll be fawned over at the matriarch. Deutschland, the paragon of the EU’s economic chest beating, saw industrial production plunge 4.7% in November, its worst showing since the GFC. The fastest rising party in Germany, the anti-immigrant AfD, whose chairman was bashed to within an inch of his life, plans to be far more open about jettisoning the EU going forward. Yet more anti-globalist forces at the gate.

Italy has felt the wrath of EU meddling in ratifying its latest budget. Despite 60% of the country voting in eurosceptic parties last year, the EU is still pushing its weight around via the ECB. Italians are far from pleased with Brussels. Many of her banks in the south are carrying nose bleed territory bad debts which make them technically insolvent. Italians want out.

Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic have openly rejected globalism and any shaming from the Bullies from Brussels has only led to bigger majorities handed to them by their citizens.

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has made it clear that illegal immigration is not for them, no matter how much UN global compacts or EU directives want to encourage it. Why else would he appoint a member of the anti-immigrant FPO as the minister for that portfolio?

PM Rutte of The Netherlands lost seats in the last election, mainly to Geert Wilders’ anti immigrant PVV. The socialist parties were all but annihilated.

UK PM Theresa May is looking on shaky ground to pass her version of Brexit through the Commons. Even Jaguar’s woes in China are supposedly the fault of Brexit. Even the iconic brand’s UK sales are up 76% since 2013. Surely it’s macroeconomic headwinds not leaving the EU that is driving this. Despite all the scare stories from the BoE, the people aren’t buying it. The UK has its highest ever petition signed to get parliament to vote for “No Deal”. So much for the expert’s advice!?

There is a groundswell movement the establishment continues to ignore. Famous economists giving fire side chats to out of touch journalists don’t convince the people who aren’t living these utopian dreams espoused from Davos.

Davos seems a bit like an Oscars gathering. The audience they are appealing to are increasingly looking the other way and tuning out. It matters not whether some believe we need to show more compassion and embrace global cooperation. The people in charge of selling it could not muck up the messaging and execution of said plans if they had a mandate to do so.

Davos 2019 may well see its proclamations become little more than rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. We’ve been so overdue an economic correction and the little bigoted people increasingly trying to protect their own interests are already telling us they’re knee deep in recession already. At the same time they’re sick of their leaders legislating against them for supposed intolerance.

Maybe France is the globalist canary in the coal mine. Macron’s police force is already being asked to step it up a notch against the protestors. He need be wary of the police switching sides which would be a cataclysmic blow for globalism. Bring it on.
