Powerful speech from Senator Tim Scott

South Carolina Senator Tim Scott slams the hypocritical Democrats for blocking the discussion on police reform, especially from the 4-minute mark. He correctly points out that the very legislation he is suggesting could have been introduced by the Democrat leadership in cities where many of the problems lie decades ago.

Isn’t it ironic that despite the Democrats being invited to suggest their own amendments to the proposed bill, the party that proudly tells Americans it deeply cares for minorities blocked a discussion on the very legislation designed to help them?

Who knew? Minneapolis Diversity vs Damaged Properties

Minny

Who knew that those areas most racially and ethnically diverse (shaded green) suffered the brunt of the damage done in the riots?

As PSO said, “If one were actively trying to reverse integration, one would have done precisely this.”

We are not very confident that the Minneapolis City Council has all the answers. At the very least, insurance companies will be able to make a stronger case in assessing risk management if they bother at all from hereon.

The intellectually inconsistent crusade that demands bigger gov’t solutions and anarchy simultaneously

Several weeks ago we wrote about the “hijacking” of the George Floyd protests for everything but that.

mrcTV’s Brittany Hughes concurs and explains how much further the protest madness has spread in America.

Note Black Trans Lives Matter (BTLM) protests have taken place even though they had nothing to do with George Floyd or police brutality. Just black trans rights. Not all trans rights.

Never mind that protestors also defaced the statue of Matthias Baldwin by spraypainting “colonizer.” Baldwin was a slavery abolitionist who pushed for black voting rights three decades before the Civil War. In 1835, he donated money to establish a school for African-American children in Philadelphia and paid for it out of his own pocket. But hey, he was white so must have been a rabid supremacist. Easier to rub out his inconvenient history.

If only these protests had anything to do with black lives or George Floyd. So typical of the hypocrisy of the social justice movement. As Thomas Sowell said,

Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.

Self-imposed slavery on the sporting field?

We couldn’t help but notice the kneeling across global sporting codes over the weekend. In Australia, players of the AFL and NRL codes all took the knee. No one stood.

The football leagues across Europe did the same thing.

Have we just witnessed acts of modern day slavery?

No, we are not trying to draw an equivalence to those that suffered at the hands of real slavery more than a century ago. Let’s be absolutely clear.

However it is not hard to see capitulating to the mob by surrendering constitutional rights out of a fear of exercising them as a reflection of the bleak dystopian future that is rapidly approaching.

We can be absolutely sure that failure to publicly submit to causes like BLM will lead to vilification and worse. Best to fall in line (literally) to avoid being attacked and face the inevitable backlash from the verbally violent apparatchiks on Twitter.

Is it fair to assume that every player believed in the cause of kneeling for BLM? Or were some pressured to do so? Did they feel their contracts might come under threat for non compliance?

Worry they might. LA Galaxy star Aleksandar Katai was recently sacked for something his wife tweeted about BLM without his knowledge. Career over. Shouldn’t the incendiary tweets of a spouse live and die there? Should companies have the power to sack us for the free speech exercised by our own husbands or wives in their own time?

Do employers have rights to enforce behaviors of employees completely unrelated to their jobs especially if not bound by legal contracts?

Did woke sponsors threaten to withdraw support if they didn’t make the virtue signaling gesture? Or did the same sponsors fear secondary boycotts and demand players got on message? Will players and officials kneel at every match from now on?

Are police officers – who attend every sporting match for player and fan security – so in need of being vilified each game for things the overwhelming majority haven’t committed?

Let’s not forget the long list of disgraceful crimes committed by many sports celebrities including rape, murders, shootings, animal cruelty, prostitution rings, assault, robbery, illegal gun possession, DUI and resisting arrest to name a few. Are these the types of role models the sports bodies think should lecture the rest of us?

We don’t doubt that most players believe in the lives of black (and all) people but was there any resistance in the locker room beforehand? Did they fear an Israel Folau style social media lynch mob which might drag their own family members in the line of fire for failing to fall to their knees?

The NFL in America marks the next step for the rest of the world’s sporting codes.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made a woefully cringeworthy and cowardly apology for ignoring the cause started by Colin Kaepernick, who will now get to name his price. Watch Goodell make him a race liaison for the NFL. Forget that Kaepernick was an average quarterback when he played. Just sign him ahead of far better players in order to avoid censure. A multi-year lucrative multi-million dollar participation trophy awaits.

Goodell said the NFL condemns systemic racism. Really? Who knew? Why would the NFL have to publicly announce the bleeding obvious? c.70% of NFL players are handsomely rewarded African Americans. Hardly a league guilty of oppressing minorities.

Goodell promised to spend $250 million over 10 years to combat systemic racism. Put that $25m yearly stipend against the $8bn in annual revenue, that is a token 0.31% of that. So it’s hardly a sum relative to the self loathing video made. Still it makes for good headlines. Will the NFL subsidize Kaep out of that sum?

Will fans be subject to a ditching of the flag and an end to the national anthem at the game? Will it be replaced by a minute’s silence where law abiding, open minded and tolerant citizens of all races are required to watch propaganda on police brutality broadcast on big screens to martial music before kick-off?

What is worse is that Goodell skipped over the fact that his fans more than likely already condemned police brutality well before his forced confession reminiscent of an ISIS hostage video.

Is Goodell’s memory so short? Don’t fans just want to unwind from the stresses of family, work and politics by watching their team play a great game?

The NFL might feel encouraged that it’s viewership may have made a tepid recovery from the lows of 2017 but it shouldn’t test the loyalty of fans this way. They don’t pay good money to be lectured over things they already repudiate.

The Australian Wallabies rugby union team is another franchise which succumbed to pandering to identity politics over serving the needs of paying customers. Self-inflicted wound. It will take decades to recover, if ever.

The AFL and NRL should watch their step too. Overplay politics at games where fans go to escape it and they might find they walk away leaving them where they are now – cardboard cutouts in the stands and canned crowds. Don’t mistake any bump in ratings as anything other than a short term COVID19 induced boredom escaping aberration.

To think if the players hadn’t submitted to bondage in the first place, they would have no need to get on their knees of their own volition and beg their ultimate paymasters for mercy.

Gone With The Wind

WH Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany brilliantly lays waste to the pathetic questions press corps and then walks out. From the 23rd minute, she turns the media’s own headlines back on them again.

You have to question how ridiculous the debate over George Floyd has become when HBO removes ‘Gone With The Wind‘ from its list of titles its customers can view. More vacuous virtue signalling! Surprised they didn’t go back to see which customers viewed it and reported them to activists to be harangued and doxxed for their pandering to racism.

When the Public stands up to the Mob

Parkside

This is what happens when the mob decides to go to extreme measures to put someone they claim their cause protects out of business. It backfires abysmally.

You may recall we published a video of black conservative Candace Owens – which reached 100 million views – who said that the media shouldn’t be using George Floyd as a martyr figure given his long history of crime. For context, note she DID say his death was inexcusable.

Owens wrote,

This is the Parkside Café, a restaurant and bar in Birmingham, Alabama that is operated by a man named Michael Dykes. This week, Michael Dykes watched my video which garnered 100 million views in 42 hours, about the irresponsibility of the George Floyd protests and riots. Michael agreed with me and in frustration, wrote a private text to one of his colleagues about how destructive the protests were and how they are placing further burden on small business owners who are struggling to stay alive after the Coronavirus lockdowns— and now cannot open because of the riots. Michael also agreed with my sentiment that George Floyd did not deserve to die, but also, that he had a criminal record that was not worthy of the heroic characterizations the media is spinning today.

An employee of his decided to leak these private text messages, quit her job, and has now encouraged a mob of people to boycott the Parkside cafe. Local media is adding further fuel to the condemnation aby demanding he answer for his private text message exchange.

I AM SICK OF THE MOB RUINING PEOPLE’S LIVES.

PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS.

The left specializes in mobs of hate and destruction. Let’s create a reciprocal movement of patriot love and support the Parkside cafe.

The Go Fund Me link is here. It has raised almost double the initial amount requested.

Follow the money to get a grasp on where the sentiment is going.

Just like this chap.

And this lady.

And this woman.

And these people.

And these people.

Thank God that Joe Biden followed up Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” comment and Obama’s “clingers” jibe about Republicans with “10-15%” of Americans “are just not good people.” We wonder if his son Hunter is included in the 50 million-odd dregs of society…?

UPDATE

We note that Go Fund Me has since told Owens that the cause has “violated terms of service” on the grounds or “hate, violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, terrorism or intolerance of any kind.

Sounds like a Sleeping Giants style campaign to harass Go Fund Me.

Yet another tech company beholden to the left.

It wasn’t that long ago that GoFundMe happily allowed people to raise funds to pay for ladders assisting illegal immigrants to thwart national border protection laws. So when it comes to breaking federal US laws, then raising funds is OK under its guidelines? One presumes that GoFundMe enforces its own arbitrary set of rules against its own pet causes.

Don’t forget that GoFundMe happily allowed $80,000 to be raised for Egg Boi who attacked Fraser Anning. Once again, regardless of Anning’s views, funds were raised for the legal defence of a teenager who committed violence, harassed, expressed hate and showed intolerance of another’s view, no matter how abhorrent the former Senator’s words might have been. Doesn’t that violate the same terms and conditions?

Does kneeling lead to healing?

Image may contain: 3 people, crowd

Does kneeling lead to healing?

Around the world, we have seen images of law enforcement officers kneeling to protest police brutality in the wake of the inexcusable murder of George Floyd. It begs the question if the UK police officers in the picture above don’t practice brutality themselves, why are they kneeling for the actions of a small band of police officers in a different country? The same goes for the majority of honest cops in America who put their lives in harms way to protect and serve us.

At what point in society do we acknowledge such vacuous virtue signalling as anything other than an act of cowardice and an insult to the very people they claim to be apologizing to?

A bigger question might be why weren’t these British cops kneeling when police across the country were outed over the deliberate and documented 20-year cover-up of child grooming gangs on the grounds they didn’t want to be seen as racist by targeting the overwhelming majority of the known perpetrators – Asian (Pakistani) men?

We summarised the outcome of the Rotherham Inquiry here. It is shocking beyond belief and 19,000 of these identified white girls will never recover from the psychological scars. Their skin colour shouldn’t matter. It is what happens when identity politics clouds common sense. How could anyone condone arresting the fathers who were trying to break their underage girls out of rape dens? Because that is what happened. Minors were doused with gasoline and threatened with being set alight by their captors if they told anyone about what had happened.

Where were these same BLM-in-name-only protestors in the UK calling for justice for these poor girls when it became public knowledge? Are demonstrations merely determined by the most fashionable social justice issue du jour? Is systematic rape based on ethnicity on one’s own doorstep deemed less contentious than systematic racism in America?

Kneeling is nothing short of submitting to mob rule. Pure and simple. Furthermore, how does getting on one’s knees heal racial divide and conquer police brutality? We’ll get to that.

We were struck by a video of a Trump rally several years ago where the organizer invited the President of BLM New York up on stage to allow him to talk to those assembled. The outcome was not what the prevailing sentiment would have guessed before viewing the clip.

The problem with BLM is the way it seems to convey mixed messaging. BLM remains silent when so many blacks are dying in Chicago from gun violence not at the hands of police? When a 77yo former African American police captain in Louisville was shot and killed by rioters over a TV last week, BLM said nothing. It was too busy lashing out at white liberals abusing the #BlackLivesMatter Twitter hashtag to advertise their wokeness by putting black squares on the social media avatars.

And if cops truly felt so disgusted about George Floyd’s demise wouldn’t they have been better to strip off their blues, resign on the spot and trample on their badges to show how much the cause means to them?  It is hard to see the kneeling as anything more than a hollow gesture to rack up social woke points.

Why are they apologizing for things they haven’t done? If they have been privy to witnessing police brutality, did they speak up? Or were they ignored by politically-aligned police chiefs bent on seeking their next promotion by suppressing negative behavior under their watch to please city mayors?

That is not to say police officers don’t have a right to express themselves as private citizens but as public servants on the job they should not be succumbing to acts of appeasement.  They should be reprimanded for such displays of weakness. How can they keep public order by such acts of surrender? What message do they send to crowds?

Throughout history, kneeling has been a token of submission. The height of self-debasement. The term “die standing or live on your knees” derives from that.

Earlier in the week, we wrote of a YouTuber Smooth Sanchez who was claiming to represent Black Lives Matter (BLM). He was asking white women to get on their knees to admit their white privilege, apologize and pay reparations. Some complied. Some refused, only be taunted with vile abuse in the form of “racist“, “bigot” or “Neo-Nazi.

What is it with the idea that ordinary law-abiding citizens who happen to be white must atone for the sins of people they are not related to and weren’t alive at the time much of the oppression was committed? How will self-loathing whites kneeling and asking for forgiveness help black people in reality, especially if they haven’t done a thing? How do we stop racism if we constantly seek to define everything by it? Surely by making skin colour the basis by which we function as a society, then racism can’t be effectively stamped out.

In 2017 we wrote about four Ann Arbor councillors taking a knee during the national anthem ahead of session. Given these people were in a position to influence policy why didn’t they head down to the Ann Arbor Police Department and study the data about police brutality, the extent of the problem (if any) and what steps were put in place to mitigate it?

Ann Arbor is a city of 360,000. Crime versus the national average of cities it’s size revealed that burglary and motor vehicle theft were at rates at half the national average. Murder 1/5th. Robbery at less than half. Assault in line. Rape, marginally above.

Taken in isolation, Ann Arbor PD killed one African-American woman who attacked them with a knife in 2014. Since then a clean slate. If new measures to weed out bad apples were put in place, shouldn’t those councillors have promoted the successful program that they implemented instead of joining a chorus which threw its own law enforcement it sets the guidelines for under the bus?

Wouldn’t it be better to have city mayors incentivise police chiefs to proactively manage their officers in ways which would lead to the types of outcomes the public wants? We doubt the wimpy response of Ann Arbor politicians is an isolated event. That is the problem. Making a public statement to appear virtuos but fail to follow up with meaningful policy achieved what exactly? Their actions were as useless as draping one’s social media avatar with whatever cause is fashionable to show one is against the bleeding obvious.

The fish rots at the head. No amount of kneeling will fix problems unless the raw data is openly discussed and the brutal truth examined. The Minneapolis PD was subject to a federal review of procedures in 2015. The statistics revealed that few officers were fired or suspended for claims made against them. The majority were either reprimanded or given extra coaching. Yet MPD still continued to see complaints pile up. This appears to be a senior management issue.

Bad (insert profession) deserve to be weeded out of any organisation, especially where public order is at stake.

Pointing the finger at the majority of law-abiding citizens who aren’t racist will do absolutely nothing to solve this crisis. As Mark D Robinson said, the majority is “the first ones taxed, the last ones considered and the first ones punished.

Having whites declare their white privilege on their knees will solve nothing. It is actually an insult to blacks for whites to think that apologizing for things they haven’t done just to feel better about themselves rather than seek to find solutions through constructive free speech which acknowledges history. It is the same mentality as pushing gender politics. Do these same people think telling capable, educated, intelligent and ambitious women that they need special treatment?

Having whites kneel will not lift one single black person out of the oppression so many Democrat lawmakers highlight when it is decades of their policies that have perpetuated the problems in the first place. It is actually racist to push this kind of tribalism, as many of our narrative busing videos of everyday African Americans attests to.

In closing, if we want to take stupidity to the next level, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti publicly said he wants to drastically cut the police budget in coming years. One can only assume that stifling the one body that can keep communities safe will only enforce the very stereotypes that the death of George Floyd was supposed to stop.

Kneeling does not lead to healing. Lets not pretend that it does. Bold leadership that avoids political correctness and identity politics is required.

Candace Owens gives her verdict on why George Floyd shouldn’t be seen as a martyr

Conservative Candace Owens gives her opinion on why she doesn’t think George Floyd should be treated as a martyr for black people. While she believes his death was completely unjustified, Candace runs through his long history of run-ins with the law -from armed robbery, drug offences and holding a gun to the belly of a pregnant woman. She also makes the point to those that think Floyd was on the road to recovery by saying his tox screen revealed he was on fentanyl and methamphetamines at the time of his arrest.

YouTuber uses George Floyd tragedy to play pranks on white women

YouTuber Smooth Sanchez, claiming to be from Black Lives Matter (BLM) has been filming white women and demanding they get on their knees, apologize for their white privilege and hand out their phone numbers to pay reparations. Full marks to the woman at the 21-minute mark who calls this loser out.

Sanchez tried to punk his victims by referring to George Floyd as either George Foreman or Floyd Mayweather to see whether he could catch them out for their ignorance. None did.

Apart from turning a grave crisis into a sick prank, non-compliant women were called “Nazis“, “racists” and “bigots.” He even threw anti-Semitic jibes at a Hasidic Jewish couple. He even accuses a man walking his dog of looting. What on earth would possess anyone to do something this sick?

This is the social media generation. Use whatever means to boost followers and collect donations while streaming.

Speechless.

Media Hijacks the #GeorgeFloyd Protests to Fan the Flames of Sedition

No one should be seeking to exploit the loss of George Floyd at the hands of inexcusable police brutality. Sadly, the #GeorgeFloyd demonstrations have been brazenly hijacked by a growing number of anarchists assisted by willing accomplices in the media to fan the flames of sedition. As Hillary Clinton said, “never let a good crisis go to waste!

Let’s not forget that the majority of Americans were united against what transpired. Yet the first thing the press seized on was to promote the idea of division.

Yes, in certain pockets of society systemic racism exists in America. It shouldn’t but it does. No amount of kneeling or social media virtue signaling can convince those who have hate in their hearts to change. Burning down buildings only hardens their beliefs.

We found a curious documentary several years ago about Daryl Davis, a black man who befriended the KKK. Davis found that listening to them was all that was required. He has caused many to hand in their robes. There is reason why god gave us two ears and one mouth – so we listen more and talk less. We encourage you to watch the full episode. It is eye opening.

Unfortunately, as we pointed out a few days ago, the statistics simply do not bear a deepening rift in race relations to be the case.

We also note the benevolent actions of so many citizens during the crisis who have flatly rejected the doctored sentiment preached by the journalistic corps. Armed militia have felt compelled to guard stores across the country to prevent more livelihoods succumbing to senseless acts of sponsored depravity in their neighbourhoods. Desiree Barnes tore strips off looters in New York for the damage done to her community by those who haven’t the first clue what impact their actions have had.

We see these as more accurate representations of the mood of the majority of average Americans than mindless clickbait journalists and Twitterati deliberately try to ignore.

Economist and social theorist, Thomas Sowell once said,

Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.”

We posted a video of Washington DC resident Nestride Yumga who took on hundreds of Black Lives Matter (BLM) protestors for rank hypocrisy because they don’t attempt to raise awareness for the 191 homicides in Chicago so far this year.

We noted that BLM have been silent over the death of  77yo African American David Dorn, a retired Louisville Police captain, was killed by a rioter defending a pawnshop over a TV.

David McAtee was a 53-year-old African American man known for providing free meals to police officers who stopped by his restaurant was killed in a shoot out he was not a part of. Where was BLM?

Yet BLM activists have been happy to target white liberals putting black squares on their social media avatars.

FNF Media is no fan of slacktivism, the idea that moral preening on social media is enough to make one worthy. In the end, the cause ends up all about themselves – upping evidence of keyboard commitment to ensure acceptance. Still BLM focused anger at the overuse of their hashtag, not the actual problems of people dying in cold blood.

Many more police officers of all races have been injured, shot and several killed during the violence. Americans are appalled. Violence IS the problem.

Almost everything in the mainstream media (MSM) has become sensationalism writ large. When clickbait driven advertising revenues are at stake and an opportunity to knock off the very head that fuels their derangement, objectivity be damned.

Peaceful demonstrations to raise awareness about corrupt cops and the problems created by centuries of systemic racism are enshrined in the constitution. Trump openly stated he wants to protect 1A. Yet CNN’s Don Lemon had the nerve to call Trump’s actions the path to a “dictatorship.” His colleagues on the scene spoke of “mostly peaceful protests” as one stood in front of a building which was engulfed in 40ft high flames and another dodging bottles hurled at him.

The MSM went out of its way to talk about peaceful demonstrators being brutally suppressed by vindictive law enforcement officers. Innocent protestors have become unfortunate collateral damage in too many cases, mostly due to the proximity of the rioters to them.

Perhaps keyboard warriors might propose what the police should do in order to maintain order? Should law enforcement ask each protestor if they intend to commit acts of theft, violence or assault? It is just not an option when rioters are exacerbating the protestors’ suffering in the same areas. The rioters couldn’t give a damn about George Floyd. That is self-evident.

Think through the logic of those who have spent a lifetime building a business. If Trump says he wants to overwhelm vandals who have no qualms destroying their innocent livelihoods with a bigger show of force where do you think the public sympathy will lie? The promise to follow up with harsh sentencing via the brainless uploading of their crimes to social media feeds will only win more support,

Then we had sanctimonious celebrities spewing hypocrisy behind gated mansions with armed rent-a-cops who would shoot rioters on a whim if they were threatened. Hollywood only proved Ricky Gervais 100% correct.

The Left has demanded Trump reason with the rioters. How would appeasement tactics work with a group who utterly despise him? Had he played defence it would have given the mob a free license to push the crisis into overdrive which is exactly what they crave. After all, the ends justify the means.

The media relished the chance to tag Trump as a coward, claiming he had fled to his bunker. Such calls are made solely at the discretion of the Secret Service, the people paid to protect him. This is exactly why he staged the walk across Lafayette Square ahead of his security team and pose in front of St. Johns Church to debunk that narrative.

Yet journalists devoted more outrage over this action to clear a path to the house of worship than the very acts of the rioters who unsuccessfully tried to burn it to the ground a day earlier. Priorities.

The media repeatedly pushed lies about tear gas being used on those peaceful protestors outside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Never mind that the US Park Police went on record to deny that accusations and state they had been attacked with projectiles “including bricks, frozen water bottles and caustic liquids” and “found caches of glass bottles, baseball bats and metal poles hidden along the street.” Must be the same peaceful protestors CNN has talked about.

Trump has only one real option – play offense. Which he is doing. Most Americans want an end to seeing footage of police in Buffalo being callously run down by speeding rioters or other cops being shot and filmed as they bleed out. They want law and order restored and the longer it goes the more angry they will get at authorities sitting doing nothing when they were only too happy to issue citations for violating stay at home orders.

Yet it doesn’t matter what Trump does. Even if he delivered the very script the MSM wrote for him, they’d find fault.

We could go on and on.

We should all condemn all violence and vigorously defend the right to free speech. What we are seeing is activists pushing for more of the former and less of the latter. That should tell us much.

We think these riots have solidified Trump’s chances for re-election. Fewer Americans want to be associated with groups that openly embrace thuggery and looting as fair game.

Lived experience through the past two weeks of violence and the past three months of lockdown are enough evidence to prove that Americans are growing tired of anarchy and totalitarianism. There is only one candidate who openly stands against it – Trump.

Two other things we’ve learnt.

The picture at the top depicts yet more sanctimonious hijacking of the George Floyd tragedy by protestors in Sydney (and many other countries). Despite facts borne out of a Royal Commission that aboriginal deaths in custody were no different to any other demographic, woke mobs think killing cops is something to boast about.

The only other thing we’ve learnt is that ignoring social distancing doesn’t seem to be a problem either.

Let’s hope this senseless violence is quelled and cooler heads prevail.
