Red Bull fires diversity directors who pushed BLM

Red Bull has fired two ‘diversity directors’ who tried to force the company into virtue signalling about Black Lives Matter while also dissolving several ‘culture teams’ who were pressuring Red Bull to take a more aggressive ‘woke’ political stance.”

Who knew that some companies realise their customers don’t want political messages attached to their products? Even worse, many of these movements have been pushed by supposedly woke activists who haven’t the first clue about the manifestos of the reprehensible organizations they want their brand to support.

Look at the success of the Goya Foods pushback! Sales are booming and some supermarkets are having to ration it to a maximum of two items to placate customers.

We await the next round of plunging revenues and audience stats with the NFL, NBA and NBL. Get woke, go broke.

Smithsonian Sanctimony

Britt Hughes dismantles the taxpayer funded Smithsonian on its sanctimonious infographic on “whiteness”.

Apparently politeness, the nuclear family, working hard, rational thinking, self-reliance and respecting authority are white concepts/traits. Who knew the Smithsonian thought all other races are too stupid, backward or blind to think the same way. The foul stench of racial stereotypes.

Yes, in 2020 segregation is a thing. Dumb down everything to identity instead of individuality.

What a surprise the Smithsonian has apologized and taken the infographic down with the following lame excuse,

It is important for us as a country to talk about race. We thank those who shared concerns about our ‘Talking About Race” online portal. We need these types of frank and respectful interchanges as we as a country grapple with how we talk about race and its impact on our lives,” the statement said. “We erred in including the chart. We have removed it, and we apologize.”

and followed up with,

‘The museum…is reviewing policies to ensure quality of digital materials.’

FBI background checks for gun purchases surge 136% in June

God Bless America. The FBI has recorded that background checks for firearm purchases last month surged to 7.8 million, up 136%YoY. The highest number recorded in 20 years.

A survey done by the National Shooting Sports Foundation found dealers project around 40% of sales are to first-time buyers, an increase from the average.

Does this surge suggest voting intentions? Surely those buying guns won’t be supporting a party that backs defunding the police and has leaders like Speaker Pelosi who flippantly dismissed the destruction of public and private property by rioters as “they will do what they do!

The Woke Utopia – Jonathan Pie

Jonathan Pie follows up on the Oppression Obsession video of two years ago.

As he rightly points out, this is the society the hard left called for. These people that push this cancel culture should have no issues when it blows back on them. They can’t have it both ways.

1974 or 1984? To drown or be drowned?

The culture wars. Two films. One film drowning in free speech. The other drowning out free speech.

While the woke cancel culture mob is out there trying to turn the world into a modernized version oft George Orwell’s ‘1984‘ perhaps they need to watch the 1974 classic ‘Blazing Saddles‘ instead.

The Mel Brooks’ film was full of shockingly overt racist and sexist stereotypes. That was the whole point. The aim was to take these social issues to their extremities and poke fun at the stupidity of them. Simple but effective.

As one of the most talented comedians of his time, Richard Pryor was responsible for writing many parts of the script for Brooks. Not that it matters but Pryor was black.

Blazing Saddles was made 46 years ago and was an icon of its time. It is probably more representative about how society frowned on racism and sexism back then. For if it didn’t, those jokes would not have resonated at all. To suggest that we aren’t even further progressed as a society in 2020 is insane.

The irony is the apparatchiks of the radical left want to embrace all of the racism and sexism they proclaim to reject.

Perhaps they should watch Blazing Saddles and get a grip instead of channeling Richard Burton and turning society into subjugated masses of Winstons and Julias.

Who knew people hated having others decide what they are allowed to consume?

Victoria to become 100% female if superannuation laws passed

The Democratic People’s Republic of Victoria is wanting to push legislation to allow companies to pay women a higher rate of superannuation than men to close the gap. Adjustments to the Sex Discrimination Act would be required.

Given the legislation that allows one to change gender without question in Victoria, why would anyone identify as male if their superannuation might be higher with a company that wanted to be woke? Who are companies to deny my right to identify as the gender I claim to be.

Even if companies wanted to voluntarily pay women more superannuation, they should prepare for a revolt by men. As bogus as those making a gender change claim might be, if they have it formalized on their birth certificate then, as a matter of law, companies would be forced by their own hand to pay men who identify otherwise.

The market is a wonderful weighing mechanism. Obamacare was one of the largest contributing factors as to why 94% of jobs growth under President Obama was part time. Companies avoided red tape by bypassing the legislation that would raise costs to unsustainable levels.

If governments want to create higher unemployment, pushing higher super is one way to put a brake on jobs growth and push companies to hire cheaper male employees.

So by the very misguided altruism of the Victorian government, women could end up worse off and the gap even wider.

What if a person with genuine gender dysphoria identities as a trans male. That would mean under the legislation a company would be entitled to lower super payments.

There are plenty of other ways to address the gap – this isn’t one of them.

Who’d of thunk?

This is what happens when feminist activism hits the work place. It has the opposite of intended effect. Leanin.org has found in a survey it conducted that since the #MeToo movement took hold, 60% of male managers said they are now uncomfortable interacting with women at work – up 32% from 2018. Workplace interactions that men have become nervous about include mentoring, socializing and having one-on-one meetings with women.

Senior men who were also surveyed were 9x more likely to hesitate to travel with a woman and 6x less likely to have a work dinner with women.

Lean In’s founder and Facebook’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandburg said,

The problem is that even before this, women – and especially women of color – do not get the same amount of mentoring as men, which means we’re not getting an equal seat at the table, and, you know, it’s not enough to not harass us. You need to not ignore us either.

Men are not ignoring you. Sadly when men can (and have) lose (lost) careers for unsubstantiated claims against them by women forgive them if they feel intimidated.

Who could have predicted this? Now it is men’s fault for not reading feminist minds on how they must act. Sandberg has an answer for that too,

If there’s a man out there who doesn’t want to have a work dinner with a woman, my message is simple: Don’t have one with a man. Group lunches for everyone. Make it explicit, make it thoughtful, make it equal…Men need to step up. We need to redefine what it means to be a good guy at work.”

Welcome to 2019. At least one thing hasn’t changed. Men are to blame for everything.

When will these activists realize that politicizing the work space dampens cooperation and kills off ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit.
