Californian elementary school brainwashing 8yo kids about power & privilege

It seems that a third-grade teacher at R.I. Meyerholz Elementary School in Cupertino, CA decided to get 8yo kids to deconstruct their own racial identities. Students were taught that the dominant culture was the following:

White, middle class, cisgender, educated, able bodied, Christian, English speakers who created and maintained” this culture in order “to hold power and stay in power.

The documents were leaked, not by someone dripping in white fragility, but an Asian American parent who was disgusted to see kids being taught racism. She rallied other parents at the school to protest to the principal.

The teacher began the lesson on “social identities” during a mathematics class. That gives a whole new meaning to division.

A passage from the assigned text went as follows:

a white, cisgender man, who is able-bodied, heterosexual, considered handsome and speaks English has more privilege than a Black transgender woman.

Christopher Rufo, who obtained the leaked documents wrote,

“The irony is that, despite being 94 percent nonwhite, Meyerholz Elementary is one of the most privileged schools in America. The median household income in Cupertino is $172,000, and nearly 80 percent of residents have a bachelor’s degree or higher. At the school, where the majority of families are Asian-American, the students have exceptionally high rates of academic achievement and the school consistently ranks in the top 1 percent of all elementary schools statewide. In short, nobody at Meyerholz is oppressed.”

Should the teacher just view the Asian American parents against intersectional politics as inconvenient minorities who believe in meritocracy? According to Rufo, the parents believe that the school board is overpopulated by critical race theory activists.

One wonders under Biden whether these things will proliferate. So much for unity. Let’s get the brainwashing in as early as possible.

Presumably when the handsome sun bleached blonde, blue eyed white 8yo boy is punched in the nose by a minority student, the teacher will explain to him that this is a part of the healing process to account for his white privilege and atone for things he has no control over.

Black is white. Freedom is slavery. War is peace. Got it?

Bill Maher dusts up Democrats over behaviour towards Trump voters

While we think the commentary surrounding the lady, Ashli Babbit, who lost her life in the Capitol riot was a bit crass Bill Maher is one of the few lefties that is prepared to call his own side out for hypocrisy. Interesting commentary about California too.

United Van Lines publishes net migration between states in 2020

Net Migration by State in 2020

America’s largest removal company, United Van Lines, released its 44th Annual National Migration Study, revealing in 2020, Americans continued to move westbound and southbound.

This year’s survey results indicated 40% of Americans who moved did so for a new job or job transfer (down from prior years), and more than one in four (27%) moved to be closer to family (which is significantly up over prior years).

Data from March to October 2020 also revealed the COVID-19 pandemic influenced Americans’ decisions to move. For customers who cited COVID-19 as an influence on their move in 2020, the top reasons associated with COVID-19 were concerns for personal and family health and wellbeing (60%); desires to be closer to family (59%); 57% moved due to changes in employment status or work arrangement (including the ability to work remotely); and 53% desired a lifestyle change or improvement of quality of life.

COVID Death Rates by State per 100,000 residents

8 of the 12 states with the highest COVID death rates per 100,000 are Democrat-run. Conversely 7 of the smallest rates were also Democrat-controlled. Note this is not sheer numbers. So even South Dakota (R) which has had no lockdowns and a 171/100,000 death rate due to COVID, ranked 4th in net migration.

United classifies states as “high inbound” if 55% or more of the moves are going into a state. 11 of 17 states that fell into that category were Republican-controlled.

In states where at least 250 total moves were made, Republican-controlled states accounted for 10 of the top 12 inbound destinations. Democrat-controlled states accounted for 7 out of 12 in the net outbound category.

Florida (R) took in the most new inbound moves with a net 2,354. North Carolina (D) +1,370, Arizona (R) +1,071, Texas (R) +1,053 and South Carolina (R) +900.

California (D) the worst with -2,888 (net outbound), followed by Illinois (D) -1,898, New Jersey (D) -1,377 and New York (D) -993.

In gross figures, Republican-held states captured net 6,117 inbound moves with Democrat-controlled states seeing net 5,688 inbound moves in 2020.

What will 2021 bring?

California – Can you spot the difference?

As the list of California mayors and Gov Newsom blatantly violate the very rules they impose on others grows, a restaurant owner rightly asks how her business is banned from opening yet the movie set dining area set 30 feet away is somehow kosher.

Such blatant double standards. While it is true Hollywood has been deemed an essential business, these poor small business owners are being totally screwed by senseless lockdown orders which are nothing but evidence of politicians drunk on power.

Yet more evidence that the Democrats are not the party of the working class.

Another hypocritical Democrat mayor caught defying lockdown rules

California – check

Mayor – check

Democrat – check

Defying lockdown rules – check

Yes, hypocrisy knows no bounds when it comes to elitist politicians.

San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo was forced to publicly apologize after getting caught gathering with his family for Thanksgiving in defiance of California’s COVID order which demands a maximum of three different households… He had Thanksgiving dinner with people from FIVE different households.

Much like CA Gov Newsom, Liccardo said, “I apologize for my decision to gather for Thanksgiving with my family, contrary to the rules. I understand my obligation as a public official to provide exemplary compliance w/ public health orders, & not to ignore them. I commit to do better.

Unlike Californians who aren’t in the political class, Liccardo will face no repercussions.

LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl was caught dining in Santa Monica just hours after she voted to ban all outdoor dining last Tuesday.

Rules for thee but not for me.

How can these politicians warn of the imminent threat of coronavirus when they display such flagrant double standards?

California fires vs Australia

As wildfires sweep across California, we were struck by this infographic put up by Cal Fire.

While we will investigate more deeply in coming days, we were struck by several things compared to Australia’s NSW RFS.

The first is fire engines. Cal Fire claims to have 343. NSW RFS has 3,883. Although aerial bombing seems a preferred method in California.

Cal Fire employs 6,100 full time staff. NSWRFS 936.

Cal Fire has 2,600 seasonal staff, 3,500 inmates, wards and conservation members and 600 volunteers. NSWRFS has 71,000 volunteers.

Cal Fire operates on a budget of US$2.1bn. NSWRFS runs on US$405m.

Cal Fire attended 5,750 wildfire incidents while NSWRFS attended 9,675 bushfires in 2018/19.

Cal Fire staged prescribed burn offs of around 19,000 acres in 2017/18. NSWRFS conducted 469,500 acres of burn off in the last recorded year. In NSW’s case, this wasn’t enough.

So before the “climate change” experts start blaming Mother Nature for California’s wildfires, a quick glance at the stats shows that NSWRFS were doing far more with less. Despite that, the Royal Commission has exposed that nowhere near enough forest fuel was being managed which led to the uncontrollable fires experienced late last year. Poor administration is a feature too.

We will endeavor to do a more comprehensive look at the stats to ensure consistency in methodology.

However we implore people to look at a report we wrote discussing climate change by the fire services themselves which goes a long way in proving what we already knew. Poor fuel load management and arson remain the biggest issues.

As ever, we don’t disparage the work of the fire fighters but question the management. In Australia, one volunteer claimed the administration acts like a mafia.

Branco takes a dig at California

California’s green madness is legendary. Who could forget when PG&E was forced to admit that while it had 100% breakdowns of the diversity of its staff and suppliers it didn’t have correct data on the state of its aging infrastructure which in many cases caused fires?

Or the time the Democrat controlled state banned those single use shampoo and body soap containers in hotels.

Or regulating water usage to such a degree that residents would need to weigh up doing the laundry, flushing the toilet and taking a shower each day.

At the very least Californians are slowly waking up to the nanny state when they brazenly let off fireworks in violation of an order by LA Mayor Garcetti.

California business owner warns a revolution is coming to Council members

Oh to be a public official collecting a monthly salary while telling minions they must stay home and struggle to feed their families.

A California business owner appeared in front of city officials to tell them off for their negligence.

He warned them that even peaceful law-abiding citizens have their limits and will revolt.

We get the feeling that COVID-19 is not the main issue. It is despotic leaders who are squeezing the life blood out of ordinary citizens while turning a blind eye to crime and lawlessness.

It reminds us of a speech made by Mark D Robinson to his City Council when he said “I am the majority!” Well worth watching too.

Californian crime prevention at its finest

You have to hand it to the compassionate State of California. During this pandemic, there is a zero-bail policy in force. That means the chap pictured, Dijon Landrum committed 3 crimes inside of 12 hours and was released each time with just a citation for the felonies committed. Glendora Police Dept listed the following.

“On Wednesday, April 29th, at about 8:28 a.m., our officers responded to a call of a male who was attempting to break into a vehicle in the 1400 block of South Grand Ave. When we arrived, we contacted Dijon Landrum, M/24, from Monterey Park, as he was attempting to drive away in a stolen vehicle. (The vehicle had been stolen out of East Los Angeles.) In addition to driving a stolen vehicle, he had stolen property and narcotics with him. Landrum was arrested. Due to the California Zero-Bail Policy, he was issued a citation and released.

Approximately one hour after Landrum was released, at about 2:20 p.m., we received a call of an unknown male in the area of Bennett and Pennsylvania. This male was carrying a box and was walking through front yards of residences. It appeared that the male was placing items in this box as he was walking through the properties. When we arrived, we contacted Dijon Landrum a second time, and it appeared he had property in his possession that did not belong to him. Due to the California Zero-Bail Policy, he was issued a citation, and the property was recovered by our officers.

Several hours later, at 8:49 p.m., we received a call of a vehicle that had just been stolen out of a parking lot in the 1300 block of South Grand Ave. Our officers were able to track the vehicle and found it westbound on the 10 freeway in the area of La Puente. With assistance from outside agencies (LA County Sheriffs and California Highway Patrol), they located the vehicle and a pursuit began. The pursuit ultimately ended in Pasadena, and Dijon Landrum was again arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle, and also for evading officers. Due to the California Zero-Bail Policy, Landrum was released with his third citation of the day.

We want to thank all of the citizens that helped with this investigation, particularly those that called when they noticed something suspicious. If anyone has any additional information regarding any of these investigations or noticed any suspicious activity on home surveillance cameras during that time frame that may be related, please contact our dispatch at 626-914-8250.

Liberal lunacy. We thought catch and release was a fishing terminology…

When the people you least expect praise Trump on COVID19 response

The View, hosted by Joy Behar is about as liberal as a show can get. The members of the panel are all suffering chronic Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Instead of wishing that Americans are safe, she tried to pillory California Governor Grant Newsom over his positive remarks about Trump, making out as though he was kissing the ring to get help. He replied,

Let me just acknowledge the frame of your question. We’re involved in over 68 lawsuits with the Trump administration, and so there’s no question we have had our differences of opinion on many issues but I just want to remind you that you and many others that maybe are not aware of this. We have been at this since late January. California got a head start in many respects where no one was really paying much attention. We started working with the administration directly to get these repatriated flights from mainland China into the state of California. Many states turned their back on those flights and those repatriation missions. California embraced them. We also had that “Grand Princess,” that large cruise ship where we worked very collaboratively with the federal government developed strong relationships of trust with emergency planning and how we can bring those passengers back into our diverse communities and all across the rest of the country.

As a consequence of that, our relationship began earlier than most, and so from that perspective, all I can say is from my perspective, the relationship has been strong and I’m not doing it to kiss the ring. I’m not doing it in a way, you know — I’m just being forthright with the president. He returns calls. He reaches out. He’s been proactive. We got that “Mercy” ship down here in Los Angeles. That was directly because he sent it down here. 2,000 medical units came to the state of California, these fms, these field medical stations, and that’s been very, very helpful and to the extent we’re going to need more, and I’ll let you know in a few weeks if that relationship continues.

What were we saying about media narratives that are so removed from the truth?
