If you think you’re having a bad day, spare a thought for this unhinged liberal who decided to sound off at Trump supporters while behind the wheel and crashing into the car in front all the while providing front row seats to the police behind her.
We always wonder how showing such intolerance can endear normal people to think the opposition is a viable and credible alternative.
“A Man named Harold, a President named Barack and a Vice President named Joe.
This summarizes how most liberals view the US military:
Harold was a bright child. He grew up in America. He went to school and had a bright future ahead of him. Harold was full of life but was cut short in a violent moment. While few people had ever heard of Harold before his death, many did afterward And in death, something very shocking happened. What was so shocking, especially when it is compared to the death of someone else recently in the news?
Harold was Harold Greene, Major General, United States Army. On Aug. 5, 2014, Major General Greene was killed by a Taliban terrorist.
He was returned to America with full military honors.
It has been a tradition that the president attends the funeral of General and Flag officers killed in the line of duty.
Richard Nixon attended the funeral of a Major General Casey killed in Vietnam and George W. Bush attended the funeral of Lieutenant General Timothy Maude, who was killed in the 9/11 attacks.
While Major General Greene was buried, Barack Obama was golfing. Vice President Biden wasn’t there either. Neither was the Secretary of Defense.
Flags were not even lowered half-mast.
Four days after Harold Greene gave his life for America, Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri.
Brown was at best a young thug. In the minutes before his death, he committed a robbery at a local convenience store. According to other reports, Brown struck Officer Darren Wilson and shattered his orbital bone. Obama sent a three-person delegation to Brown’s funeral!
Neither Obama nor Biden would attend the funeral of the highest ranking military officer killed in the line of duty since 9/11, yet he sent a delegation to the funeral of a thug.
When Margaret Thatcher, one of America’s staunchest allies and Ronald Reagan’s partner in bringing down Soviet communism died, Obama sent only a small low-level delegation to her funeral. The snub was not missed by the British.
When Chris Kyle, the most lethal American sniper in history was murdered, there was no expression of sympathy from the White House.
But when Whitney Houston died from drug overdose, the Obama/Biden administration ordered all flags be flown at half-mast.
There was no White House delegation at the funeral of an American hero. American heroes die and Obama goes to the golf course.
A thug dies and he gets a White House delegation.
No wonder most “REAL” Americans hold Obama in such contempt, especially members of our Military.
And Biden is now expounding on how great the Obama/Biden administration was.
Wow. Scientific American has endorsed Joe Biden. This is the first time the magazine has backed a presidential candidate in 175 years. We think it may live to regret its move. The magazine has merely exposed the deep partisan bias and confirmed again how much of scientific academia and media leans left. Why?
The editors closed with,
“It’s time to move Trump out and elect Biden, who has a record of following the data and being guided by science.”
If we listened to Joe Biden’s ‘Moses and the 10 Commandments’ speech the other day, it was full of unsubstantiated hyperbole about the risks of higher incidences of floods, hurricanes and wildfires if Trump is reelected despite the fact that under the current administration, harmful GHG emissions have fallen by the largest absolute number ever in 2019 according to the IEA.
For a magazine that rests its laurels on “following the data” and “being guided by the science”, perhaps it missed the UNIPCC’s March 2018 report on weather extremes (with respect to anthropogenic induced global warming) which noted:
“…There is low confidence in observed trends in small-scale phenomena such as tornadoes and hail because of data inhomogeneities and inadequacies in monitoring systems…in some regions droughts have become less frequent, less intense, or shorter, for example, in central North America and northwestern Australia. There is limited to medium evidence available to assess climate-driven observed changes in the magnitude and frequency of floods…low confidence for the attribution of any detectable changes in tropical cyclone activity to anthropogenic influences..low confidence in projections of changes in extreme winds.. low confidence in projections of changes in monsoons…low confidence in wave height projections…overall low confidence because of inconsistent projections of drought changes…low confidence in projected future changes in dust storms…low confidence in projections of an anthropogenic effect on phenomena such as shallow landslides.”
Perhaps the editors missed the questionnaire posted by the UN Interacademy Council committee on its website which invited interested parties to respond to the scientific processes at the IPCC during the compilation of the gold standard climate bibles? These were some of the responses;
“some of the lead authors…are clearly not qualified to be lead authors.” (p.16)
“There are far too many politically correct appointments, so that developing country scientists are appointed who have insufficient scientific competence to do anything useful. This is reasonable if it is regarded as a learning experience, but in my chapter…we had half of the [lead authors] who were not competent.” (p. 138)
“The whole process…[is] flawed by an excessive concern for geographical balance. All decisions are political before being scientific.” (p. 554)
“half of the authors are there for simply representing different parts of the world.” (p. 296)
Lest anyone think that people from less affluent countries were being unjustly stereotyped,
“The team members from the developing countries (including myself) were made to feel welcome and accepted as part of the team. In reality, we were out of our intellectual depth as meaningful contributors to the process.” (p.330)
The founders of Scientific American must be rolling over in their graves. If their scientific rigour is as sound as their endorsement then Trump has even more chances to secure reelection.
This should be seen as a rejection of Trump not an endorsement for Biden.
Can you spot the difference? Here is Joe Biden’s version.
The irony is that America, despite not being a signatory of the Paris Climate Accord, has recorded the largest falls in GHG emissions of any nation on an absolute basis ever under Trump. The IEA reported,
“The United States saw the largest decline in energy-related CO2 emissions in 2019 on a country basis – a fall of 140 Mt, or 2.9%, to 4.8 Gt.”
You have to hand it to the Democrats. VP Joe Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, said that she was “proud of Jacob Blake“ when she visited him in hospital. At the very least we have to say her messaging is consistent. After all, she backed the Minnesota Freedom Fund which bailed out criminals, some charged with murder and rape. Jacob Blake’s father is an anti-Semite. It is amazing what makes an “incredible family” in America these days.
Maybe that is why she could show pride in Jacob Blake, who resisted arrest, fought with police officers (including headlocking one of them), ignored their instructions repeatedly while returning to his car for a weapon. He also was arrested in the past for brandishing a firearm in a bar while drunk, carrying a concealed firearm inside a public building, battery, assault, domestic violence and had an outstanding warrant for sexual assault and trespass.
The Democrats now claim they are for “law and order” which in reality is about as honest as Joe Biden is for “fracking.”
Kamala Harris’ hypocrisy in her own words can also be found here.
You have to hand it to the academic class. 81 Nobel laureates have endorsed Joe Biden with,
“At no time in our nation’s history has there been a greater need for our leaders to appreciate the value of science in formulating public policy…During his long record of public service, Joe Biden has consistently demonstrated his willingness to listen to experts, his understanding of the value of international collaboration in research and his respect for the contribution that immigrants make to the intellectual life of our country.”
Listening to the predictions of many of these academic experts during COVID-19 is hardly confidence inspiring.
It is fascinating to think that after 47 years in government and 8 years as VP he is somehow going to fix America’s problems.
Americans clearly don’t pay too much mind. 70 endorsed Hillary Clinton back in 2016.
We never forget the time before the Brexit vote when a table went viral listing who was in the leave or remain camp. The leavers included Trump, Putin and BoJo. The remainers included 300 economists, Barack Obama and the National Union of Students.
As ever, these endorsements are a way for elitist academics to let we peons know that we have nothing on their intellectual superiority and should heed their wise words.
We thank the Nobel laureates for helping Americans increase their support of Trump by talking down to them. As if Hollywood celebrities weren’t bad enough.
One day the media will get that in the digital world, video/audio history has a half-life of infinity against the left too. White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany repeats the words of the Democrats and walks out.
As we wrote the other day, do the Democrats honestly think the American public is so stupid, that amidst the violence, the fact it was never mentioned once before, including the Democrat National Convention has escaped them?
This is nothing more than a condemnation of convenience. It has all the authenticity of a Beijing supermarket that exclusively sells fakes.
Could it be that the Dems realize that Americans are getting fed up with all of the rioting, looting and shooting?
Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden came out last night with,
“Burning down communities is not protest, it’s needless violence. Violence that endangers lives. Violence that guts businesses and shutters businesses that serve the community. That’s wrong.”
Why didn’t the DNC feature strong condemnation of the violence with its list of speakers? Instead his party promoted a convicted murderer and kidnapper who served 27 years but labeled her one of “America’s most impactful leaders” and a non-binary mermaid queen-king who wants to abolish the police, prisons and ICE?
Jeez Joe, only 80 days late pal! You think Americans have forgotten Speaker Pelosi’s, “People will do what they will do!” gaffe?
Only one party has condemned the rioting from the get go. Only one party has thrown its weight behind the police, so much so that the unions are endorsing Trump en masse.
We’ve said before, this is not a coronavirus election. Anyone can see that rioters don’t play by the harsh lockdown rules and people are fed up about their physical, societal and economic safety not some virus that has a 99.96% recovery rate.
