How the Left loves to say Obama’s presidency was scandal-less. We’ve always thought scandalous.
If the FBI’s actions surrounding the investigation of Trump before the 2016 election was as squeaky clean and by the book as made out, why did a swathe of agents take out ‘liability insurance‘ two weeks before Trump took office?
“Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents tasked by fired former Director James Comey to take down Donald Trump during and after the 2016 election were so concerned about the agency’s potentially illegal behavior that they purchased liability insurance to protect themselves less than two weeks before Trump was inaugurated president, previously hidden FBI text messages show. The explosive new communications and internal FBI notes were disclosed in federal court filings today from Sidney Powell, the attorney who heads Michael Flynn’s legal defense team.”
“[W]e all went and purchased professional liability insurance,” one agent texted on Jan. 10, 2017, the same day CNN leaked details that then-President-elect Trump had been briefed by Comey about the bogus Christopher Steele dossier.”
“Holy crap,” an agent responded. “All the analysts too?”
“Yep,” the first agent said. “All the folks at the Agency as well.”
“[C]an I ask who are the most likely litigators?” an agent responded. “[A]s far as potentially suing y’all[?]”
“[H]aha, who knows….I think [t]he concern when we got it was that there was a big leak at DOJ and the NYT among others was going to do a piece,” the first agent said.
“I’m tellying [sic] man, if this thing ever gets FOIA’d, there are going to be some tough questions asked,” one agent wrote. “[A]nd a great deal of those will be related to Brian having a scope way outside the boundaries of logic[.]”
“We have some loose ends to tie up, and we all need to meet to discuss what to do with each case (he said shut down Razor),” one agent texted, referring to Crossfire Razor, the FBI’s internal code name for the investigation of Flynn.
“[S]o glad they’re closing Razor,” an agent responded.
“[D]oing all this election research – I think some of these guys want a [C]linton presidency,” one agent wrote on Aug. 11, shortly after the FBI opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation against Trump.
“A Man named Harold, a President named Barack and a Vice President named Joe.
This summarizes how most liberals view the US military:
Harold was a bright child. He grew up in America. He went to school and had a bright future ahead of him. Harold was full of life but was cut short in a violent moment. While few people had ever heard of Harold before his death, many did afterward And in death, something very shocking happened. What was so shocking, especially when it is compared to the death of someone else recently in the news?
Harold was Harold Greene, Major General, United States Army. On Aug. 5, 2014, Major General Greene was killed by a Taliban terrorist.
He was returned to America with full military honors.
It has been a tradition that the president attends the funeral of General and Flag officers killed in the line of duty.
Richard Nixon attended the funeral of a Major General Casey killed in Vietnam and George W. Bush attended the funeral of Lieutenant General Timothy Maude, who was killed in the 9/11 attacks.
While Major General Greene was buried, Barack Obama was golfing. Vice President Biden wasn’t there either. Neither was the Secretary of Defense.
Flags were not even lowered half-mast.
Four days after Harold Greene gave his life for America, Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri.
Brown was at best a young thug. In the minutes before his death, he committed a robbery at a local convenience store. According to other reports, Brown struck Officer Darren Wilson and shattered his orbital bone. Obama sent a three-person delegation to Brown’s funeral!
Neither Obama nor Biden would attend the funeral of the highest ranking military officer killed in the line of duty since 9/11, yet he sent a delegation to the funeral of a thug.
When Margaret Thatcher, one of America’s staunchest allies and Ronald Reagan’s partner in bringing down Soviet communism died, Obama sent only a small low-level delegation to her funeral. The snub was not missed by the British.
When Chris Kyle, the most lethal American sniper in history was murdered, there was no expression of sympathy from the White House.
But when Whitney Houston died from drug overdose, the Obama/Biden administration ordered all flags be flown at half-mast.
There was no White House delegation at the funeral of an American hero. American heroes die and Obama goes to the golf course.
A thug dies and he gets a White House delegation.
No wonder most “REAL” Americans hold Obama in such contempt, especially members of our Military.
And Biden is now expounding on how great the Obama/Biden administration was.
"When there is a vacancy on the SCOTUS, the President is to nominate someone, the Senate is to consider that nomination… There's no unwritten law that says that it can only be done on off-years. That's not in the Constitution text." pic.twitter.com/vrOi3DrkJN
Will Nancy Pelosi call this a distraction? Will The Atlantic magazine still demand that the Nobel Peace Prize be terminated for good?
Imagine if Trump gets 9 more countries to sign a peace deal with Israel, including Saudi Arabia? Can the left concede that this is a positive?
If Obama had achieved any such agreements with Arab nations with Israel – the country he threw under the bus in his last days in office – the press would be guffawing incessantly for weeks. Because it is Trump, haters gotta hate.
The Abraham Accord is as follows:
“We, the undersigned, recognize the importance of maintaining and strengthening peace in the Middle East and around the world based on mutual understanding and coexistence, as well as respect for human dignity and freedom, including religious freedom.
We encourage efforts to promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue to advance a culture of peace among the three Abrahamic religions and all humanity.
We believe that the best way to address challenges is through cooperation and dialogue and that developing friendly relations among States advances the interests of lasting peace in the Middle East and around the world.
We seek tolerance and respect for every person in order to make this world a place where all can enjoy a life of dignity and hope, no matter their race, faith or ethnicity.
We support science, art, medicine, and commerce to inspire humankind, maximize human potential and bring nations closer together.
We seek to end radicalization and conflict to provide all children a better future.
We pursue a vision of peace, security, and prosperity in the Middle East and around the world.
In this spirit, we warmly welcome and are encouraged by the progress already made in establishing diplomatic relations between Israel and its neighbors in the region under the principles of the Abraham Accords. We are encouraged by the ongoing efforts to consolidate and expand such friendly based on shared interests and a shared commitment to a better future.“
“Voters see a more divided America after four years of the Trump presidency but think the country is less divided than it was when Barack Obama stepped down. They’re also more convinced that a Trump defeat in November will make the division even worse.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63% of Likely U.S. Voters think America is a more divided nation than it was four years ago. Only nine percent (9%) say the country is less divided, while 23% see the level of division as about the same.
Still this is an improvement over four years ago. Seventy-two percent (72%) described America as a more divided nation as the Obama presidency came to a close.“
As we’ve long held, Obama was the most divisive president in US history. Americans seemingly agree.
After Barack Obama’s eulogy about John Lewis, it was going to be hard to set a lower bar. He failed to do so. Nevertheless, he managed to rip Trump in his speech, despite his own failed legacy.
While the Obamas have eloquence in abundance, sadly the content doesn’t match the delivery.
Trump was right to tweet that Obama had been so late in endorsing the man he called the “greatest VP in American history.” Only up until the very end did he endorse Biden. Had he a shred of dignity he would have supported Joe Biden from day 1 of his intention to run.
How amusing to think that Barack Obama urged Biden not to run for president in 2016 and 2020, preferring Hillary Clinton over his own VP. Obama questioned Biden’s ability to win and warned others “don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.”
Now with Obamagate unravelling, the sinister behaviour behind the smile is becoming apparent. Are we to believe Obama was completely unaware of all of the shenanigans going up to the highest levels of the FBI? The Durham Report will undoubtedly sling a lot of mud as to how corrupt the Democrats have been leading into and coming out of the 2016 election.
How quaint after spying on Trump that he said in reference to his successor, “Because that’s what’s at stake right now. Our democracy.”
More of his scandals can be seen in a piece we published here.
Obama in our view was the most divisive president in US history. This speech was nothing but sour grapes exposing the very failures that helped Trump win in 2016 and likely in 2020.
How strange that the supposed Mailbox Heist at the sinister hands of the Trump administration has been occurring since the 1980s.
In 2009, WaPo wrote of the mailbox conspiracy. It stated, “half of the blue boxes in the Washington area have disappeared in the last nine years, and 200,000 nationwide have been plucked up in the last 20 years, leaving 175,000 total.”
There are currently 141,900 mailboxes according to the USPS. Note 14,000 were removed under the Obama/Biden administration.
In the last decade, mailed items fell from 171bn to 142.6bn (-17%).
First class mail volumes have fallen from 28.9bn in 2010 to 16.5bn in 2019. Down 43%.
Retail offices have shrunk from 36,222 in 2010 to 34,613 in 2019. Or down 4.5%.
Post offices now have to compete with a plethora of delivery services from Amazon, FedEx and UPS. Furthermore many businesses and agencies accept PDFs for many documents.
“Historically, mailboxes have been removed for lack of use and installed in growth areas…When a collection box consistently receives very small amounts of mail for months on end, it costs the Postal Service money in fuel and work hours for letter carriers to drive to the mailbox and collect the mail. Removing the box is simply good business sense in that respect. It is important to note that anyone with a residential or business mailbox can use it as a vehicle to send outgoing mail.”
It is so easy to run conspiracy theories but one look at the data and another myth busted. But hey, who would run a voter suppression or voter ID narrative? We remind people of a video made by Ami Horowitz on the very subject. Who knew it was the dimple the opposite of the narrative?!?
Larry Elder puts together a wonderful montage on Obama vs Obama.
Elder argues that “Commencement Speaker Obama” had a positive view of race relations, and he said race didn’t hold him back when it came to running for president. However, “Political Obama” said racism is “part of our DNA,” and he seemed to treat racial conflict as a way of encouraging black people to vote for the Democratic Party. Which is correct?
