Israel

Not even one question on peace deal from WH journalists

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany ripped the assembled journalists for not asking one single question (video here) on the historic peace deal signed. So entrenched is is their Trump Derangement Syndrome that they can’t stomach anything that might be construed as a positive.

We also found it highly amusing that Obama’s former Secretary of State John Kerry said a peace deal between Arab states and Israel would never happen. Amusing to think how these career politicians can’t form the very deals over decades that Trump has completed in his first term.

Journalistic integrity will only return when the press loves America more than they hate Trump.

Up to 9 countries may join peace deal with Israel

Will Nancy Pelosi call this a distraction? Will The Atlantic magazine still demand that the Nobel Peace Prize be terminated for good?

Imagine if Trump gets 9 more countries to sign a peace deal with Israel, including Saudi Arabia? Can the left concede that this is a positive?

If Obama had achieved any such agreements with Arab nations with Israel – the country he threw under the bus in his last days in office – the press would be guffawing incessantly for weeks. Because it is Trump, haters gotta hate.

The Abraham Accord is as follows:

We, the undersigned, recognize the importance of maintaining and strengthening peace in the Middle East and around the world based on mutual understanding and coexistence, as well as respect for human dignity and freedom, including religious freedom.

We encourage efforts to promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue to advance a culture of peace among the three Abrahamic religions and all humanity.

We believe that the best way to address challenges is through cooperation and dialogue and that developing friendly relations among States advances the interests of lasting peace in the Middle East and around the world.

We seek tolerance and respect for every person in order to make this world a place where all can enjoy a life of dignity and hope, no matter their race, faith or ethnicity.

We support science, art, medicine, and commerce to inspire humankind, maximize human potential and bring nations closer together.

We seek to end radicalization and conflict to provide all children a better future.

We pursue a vision of peace, security, and prosperity in the Middle East and around the world.

In this spirit, we warmly welcome and are encouraged by the progress already made in establishing diplomatic relations between Israel and its neighbors in the region under the principles of the Abraham Accords. We are encouraged by the ongoing efforts to consolidate and expand such friendly based on shared interests and a shared commitment to a better future.

The Atlantic melts down

Just as Trump looks to sign off two peace deals inside 30 days with UAE, Bahrain and their former foe, Israel, The Atlantic published an article suggesting that the prize should be done away with.

Just how bad does media derangement have to be to suggest such a thing? This is the same paper that wants you to believe that Trump called dead soldiers “suckers” and “losers”.

If The Atlantic wishes to push the idea it is a bastion of ethical and balanced journalism, we don’t think this is the best way to do it.

The journalist, Graeme Wood, wrote,

Giving the peace prize to no one at all is a tradition the Nobel Committee should revive, perhaps on a permanent basis…Trump’s main diplomatic maneuver is to adopt a lickspittle posture toward authoritarians, promising them decades in power in return for a smile and a condo development. Peace does not mean a web of personal agreements between rich psychopaths…To keep giving awards for the seeds is to court embarrassment, and to make yourself hostage to wacky attention-seeking nominations like Trump’s. Better to shut it down, before the trolls do first.”

How crushing for the left to swallow that the devil incarnate they swore would push the nuclear button is actually a pretty effective peacenik. The Nobel would be gasoline on their bonfire.

The Left attacks the peacenik

You have to hand it to the modern left. Before he was elected, Hillary Clinton said we needed to worry about his access to the nuclear codes. The media ran wild with the narrative. Unhinged psychiatrists wrote a book on the danger. We wrote about their lack of professionalism and breach of the Hippocratic oath.

Yet 4 years later Trump has brokered significant peace deals and is in danger of being the first president in four decades not to start a war. Even Obama attacked Libya.

Now the left is criticizing Trump’s nomination for a Nobel peace prize by a conservative Norwegian politician. He is far more deserving than Obama who basically was awarded one for basically nothing of note.

Why can’t we just accept that Trump has done some remarkable things on the foreign policy front. Israel/UAE (Bahrain to follow), crossing the DMZ in North Korea instead of looking from behind a bulletproof glass partition. Serbia is about to move its embassy to Jerusalem following Trump who finally did what multiple presidents put off.

A sensible nominee and most certainly a deserved winner and one which would restore the award’s status after giving it to Obama for basically being elected.

One doesn’t have to like Trump for his vulgarity and caustic tongue but he has gotten results.

Zero points

Coles has joined the list of corporates which believe their customers actually give a damn what Alan Jones said two weeks ago. CM is rather dismayed at the absolute lack of creativity put into woke press releases. Do they just Google a standard DIY template? What do they hope to achieve other than inadvertently out themselves as easily bullied?

Coles said,

Coles values diversity, respect and actively promotes the rights of all of our team members and our customers.”

Did Coles get a flood of actual customers complaining to store managers as opposed to caving in to the faceless left wing activist groups like Sleeping Giants or Mad Fucking Witches? Maybe customers ONLY care about a wide variety of quality produce at decent prices. Just a thought. CM, like most shoppers, have never ventured into a Coles store praying that diversity is being observed.

These are the unimaginative press releases on Alan Jones from other companies,

Anytime Fitness,

The comments made last week by Alan Jones regarding Jacinda Ardern do not represent our view or values,

ME Bank,

We removed all our advertising this morning after the situation as we take this very seriously and these types of comments don’t reflect our values

Snooze,

We take the comment made by Alan Jones on the 15th of August about Jacinda Ardern very seriously. These comments do not reflect the values of Snooze

Bing Lee

The comments made earlier this week on the 2GB breakfast show do not reflect our values...

Koala Mattress,

Koala has cut ties with Alan Jones. We’re a significant buyer in the medium, and it’s something we should have done earlier. Climate change is real, violence against women starts with words and the bloke has had too many chances. @2GB873 time to wake up.

Was “wake up” an unintended oxymoron for the bedding company? Of course Koala is only too happy to endorse the likes of Clementine Ford whose slander makes Jones look like a choir boy.

CM is sure that when recession really starts to bite and revenue dollars are actually even harder to come by than now, these zero value add marketing departments will realize their moral code has absolutely no positive impact on business.

It isn’t just Alan Jones. Israel Folau lit up similar stupidity.

Rugby Australia wrote,

As a sport that is proud of the values of inclusion, passion, integrity, discipline, respect and teamwork that underpin our game globally and our Code of Conduct, we will defend those values and the right for all people to feel safe and welcome in our game regardless of their gender, race, background, religion or sexuality.

ANZ Bank

We do not support the views of Silver Fern Maria Folau and have made our views known to her employer Netball NZ.”

ASICS

We believe sport is for everyone and we champion inclusivity and diversity…While Israel Folau is entitled to his personal views, some of those expressed in recent social media posts are not aligned with those of ASICS.”

These corporates need to understand that no one cares what values these corporates have. They can decide for themselves without being lectured to like school kids on detention.

800 Jewish grandparents shaking their heads

If these self-entitled brats had the first idea what their grandparents may have endured during the Holocaust, they would never seek to do this. Being Jewish doesn’t make one an expert on American border policy. Have they considered that these captives ran into harm’s way, rather than from it?

Do these kids know what the “sonderkommando” did inside real concentration camps during the 1940s? What about the “kapos”? Thought not.

Do these kids think ICE are subjecting kids to forced labour? Are they being led into gas chambers? Their bodies cremated in incinerators? Is their hair being shaved off to make clothes? Are their guardians gold teeth being pulled to fund the ICE/CBP effort ?

CM went to Auschwitz-Birkenau in 2003. There is a room in the middle of a 3km x2km perimeter where photos of the Polish Jews who were murdered are posted in a collage.

One picture floored CM. It was – picture of this young girl, named Renia Kohn. She was 5yo when she was gassed. Tears still stream when I look at this photo. It puts one’s own life into perspective. She was systematically murdered. For what? For being a Jew.

Or maybe it is pictures like Abraham Feiler that shocked CM. The look of fear in that poor man’s eyes. It is sheer terror an one only knows what must have been going through his mind before he was killed in 1942.

CM was so taken back by the strength of character Bronislawa Bachleda had. She was murdered in April 1943 but her face is full of defiance. How could she hold up like that in the face of such tyranny?

Or when CM visited Majdanek. The camp is in tact much as it was in the 1940s. It is set at the bottom of a valley in Lublin, Poland. The wind whistles through the gaps in the wood of the crematorium. It is the most awful blood curdling whistle. It is creepy beyond all belief. Goose bumps are a given.

In one of the huts lie over 100,000 pairs of shoes. One cannot unsee the number of children’s shoes collected in the museum. Crows still squawk from the guard towers as if the evil spell has yet to be lifted.

Or Sachsenhausen in Germany where prisoners were hung by their arms tied behind their backs to a pole. The weight of their bodies would dislocate the arms from their sockets. Such inhumane torture.

Maybe these kids might learn about Berisz Dov Lemel who was the subject of medical experiments on his liver and stomach which continued until April 1945. He is still alive today with 7 grand children.

Border camps have become a necessary evil to be able to contain the tide of illegal immigrants. These kids would be better off paying attention to history than drawing a false equivalence to ICE behaving like the Waffen SS.

It is insane beyond belief to think that kids are being systematically murdered at the hands of US border officials. For if that were true activity would slow to such a trickle that US border patrols would only have to watch the grass grow in Mexico. As it stands many still prepared to take risks to move to the dictatorship which offers so much opportunity.

These kids should be forced to visit Yad Vashem and see what genocide truly looks like instead of running around with placards while sipping on Starbucks chai lattes as if they know what they’re talking about.

ACL raised $660,000 for Izzy

As it stands, the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) has helped raise $660,000 for Israel Folau in only a day since GoFundMe (GFM) pulled his $715,000 crowd funding site down.

What did people honestly expect? That they would stop Folau dead in his tracks by ganging up on GFM to back down? All These activists managed to do was to ram a hot poker into a previously sleeping giant.

It is highly doubtful that the majority of those that stumped up cash are homophobes in any way. It is way beyond that. It is much more about a protest against the constant political correctness that is thrust in our faces on a daily basis. There is a pecking order in identity politics and the majority are usually the least considered.

The people that donated want to protect freedoms – speech, religious or otherwise – and they’re sick and tired of being lectured by hypocrites. The double standards of these corporations are sickening. CSR is a buzzword but it has two distinct features – to bash companies who don’t conform to activist ideals or the creation of crony capitalism. We’ve already seen the backlash against corporates who get “woke” e.g. Gillette.

It doesn’t matter whether Folau’s crowd funding is viewed as a stunt or how inane his religious beliefs might seem to mainstream Aussies. What matters to them is they can voice dissenting opinions without recrimination. Folau’s dismissal is now but a minor issue in the crowd funding saga. The natives are restless as they’ve grown tired of apologists finding new ways to “shame” their difference in opinions.

CM is hopeful that Folau sends Rugby Australia (RA) into receivership to remove the cabal that runs it. Australian rugby is in tatters because it is not run for the fans but for identity and gender based politics, a role no one has asked it to enforce. The woeful attendance and dismal record of the Wallabies attests to this gross mismanagement. Like Cricket Australia at the time of the ball tampering scandal, RA needs a clean out. Folau will be the catalyst.

The woke never get it. Another self inflicted wound.

Go Fund Me’s double standards

RAICES.png

Well, well, well. How come it took so many days for GoFundMe to come to this conclusion? What ridiculous double standards the site has. It was bullied pure and simple and folded to activist pressure to appear as if it was a clerical oversight. Why not sack the gatekeepers at GoFundMe who should have flagged this up the chain but didn’t until they felt backed into a corner by apparatchiks?

So easy to fob it off using “GoFundMe’s terms of service say it can take down funds that are “for the legal defence of alleged crimes associated with hate, violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, terrorism or intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity or serious disabilities or diseases. It was something it should have immediately caught but didn’t.

GoFundMe’s Country Manager Nicola Britton said the site doesn’t support Folau’s anti-gay views but presumably she supports funds that say hell awaits adulterers, fornicators, liars, drunks, thieves, atheists and idolators.

Regardless of whether one agrees with Folau’s religious beliefs or not, thousands of people still volunteered $750,000 to defend his rights to free speech. Will GoFundMe doxx all of those people who felt his cause was worthy enough to donate to? If he provides his bank account details for deposits, will his bank suspend his personal account?

Many people think it is outrageous that Folau doesn’t sell his properties and self-fund. Yet who are they to determine the voluntary nature of people who helped him raise $750k? They were not forced to. Do those who donated tell the faux outrage mob how to spend their money? No.

The irony is that GoFundMe is more than happy to run campaigns of $3m (GBP1.6m) to attack Folau for his supposed intolerance. Is that the sort of double standard the company operates under? CM is sure that GoFundMe will say it was an accident.

It wasn’t that long ago that GoFundMe happily allowed people to raise funds to pay for ladders assisting illegal immigrants to thwart national border protection laws. So when it comes to breaking federal US laws, then raising funds is OK under GoFundMe guidelines? One presumes that GoFundMe enforces its own arbitrary set of rules against its own pet causes.

Don’t forget that GoFundMe happily allowed $80,000 to be raised for Egg Boi who attacked Fraser Anning. Once again, regardless of Anning’s views, funds were raised for the legal defence of a teenager who committed violence, harassed, expressed hate and showed intolerance of another’s view, no matter how abhorrent the former Senator’s words might have been. Doesn’t that violate the same terms and conditions? Or is that OK because GoFundMe dislikes our politicians?

One hopes Folau moves to another fundraising site and doubles his target. GoFundMe has only shown exactly why free speech is at stake. CM doesn’t think much of his tweet but the reality is that 99.8% of people rolled their eyes and moved on. Rugby Australia (RA) also flicked the chicken switch and appears to have acted in haste and ran the risk of constructive dismissal. RA practices the very discrimination it claims it does not.

In any event, GoFundMe’s hypocrisy is there for all to see. If we want to express outrage that people didn’t fund better causes, look no further than the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES). The viral photo-shopped Time magazine picture of a little girl crying at a defiant Trump was used with great effect by RAICES to raise $20mn via Facebook crowdfunding!

Even after it was revealed that the child – stolen from her father – was never separated from the mother (who left her other 3 kids behind) and paid a smuggler to get to the border, RAICES still shamelessly uses the picture to boost its funding target to $25mn. Sanctimony at its finest.

Netanyahu honours US president with Trump Heights

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has honoured President Trump with a settlement in the Golan Heights, citing that the American leader has done much for the security of Israel and Iranian aggression. The last time such an honour was cast upon an American president was the Kfar Truman in 1949. Cue the left losing their minds.

Constructive dismissal?

CM’s view on the incompetence of Rugby Australia (RA) is well documented and reconfirmed by Alan Jones in The Australian today. It appears that Israel Folau looks more like a sacrifice to the altar of the sponsor god, Qantas.

Sponsorship money is important to sports teams but it should never get to a point where the sponsored has to make unconscionable decisions to acquiesce their paymasters. It is unethical.

CM has long held issues over Qantas’ flagrant use of shareholder capital to sponsor the CEO’s activism. It is terrible governance.

Remember the acceptance rings ahead of the same sex marriage debate that Qantas pushed so hard on us? The idea was to distribute these acceptance rings (not fully closed) to customers, clients and travellers.

CM supposed if someone were to politely decline to wear one they risked being be branded homophobic, bigoted and summarily ostracized for expressing such views. It might be that they actually support gay marriage but do not wish to express it openly. That is nothing more than a conscious choice, not categorical staunch opposition. Perhaps failure to wear the ring could cause their career takes a turn for the worse all because they don’t comply with group expression i.e. corporate slavery. The team leader who passes them over because they incorrectly assume the employee is a dissenter. That is palpable workplace bullying encouraged by a woke CEO.

What Jones points out is that the ‘wallaby court’ had already decided the outcome before a word was uttered in defence. It appears it was a ‘hearing’ conducted with the deaf.

RA CEO Raelene Castle apparently told Vanessa Hudson, chief customer officer at Qantas,

I updated her on the situation a day after the post and told her that, confidentially, Rugby AU would be working towards a process to terminate Mr Folau’s contract and that Ms Hudson can share that position with Qantas chief executive Mr Alan Joyce. Ms Hudson texted me later that day saying that she had only shared the update with Mr Joyce and he was appreciative of the transparency and he said that a speedy resolution by Rugby AU was paramount.”

This says a lot about Qantas. If it wants to exert control over RA it should acquire it and manage it as a subsidiary.

Yet where was the pushback by RA? It flaked. If it understood the dwindling fan numbers meant it wasn’t connecting to revenue, it might have thought defending Folau might have been its greatest coup and that many non virtue signaling corporates could replace Qantas’ sponsorship.

The culture of RA is self evident. It is not about rugby anymore but a platform for identity politics. No wonder fans are deserting it. CM discusses dwindling fan numbers yesterday, something Jones alluded to. Put simply, the product stinks and that rot permeates from the top. Fans aren’t stupid.

Coach Michael Cheika’s abysmal win/loss record is tolerated because he tows the line of the C-level cabal. So do some of the players who threatened to boycott the team if Folau was allowed to keep playing. What a joke! These virtue signaling players if given the choice to stand by their beliefs or keep their lucrative contracts would choose the latter every time. They sounded just like those Hollywoodcelebrities that threatened to leave America if Trump won the presidency.Hypocrites.

However it only reinforces the reality of the culture within the RA that encourages this type of numb skulled response to pander to the top. If these players wanted to think about faith in context of not selling out core beliefs they could learn muchfrom Israel Folau.

It increasingly looks like the high level breach has been committed by the board in cahoots with Qantas.

As CM mentioned yesterday, perhaps receivership is the best outcome for RA. That way the apparatchiks get cleared out and replaced by people that connect with fans who ultimately pay the keep the lights on at HQ. It isn’t that hard to fix RA’s problems but it will be impossible with a leadership team which seems to support constructive dismissal at the behest of corporates that champion activism rather than principle. Clearly Qantas is the mean “spirit of Australia”

Get woke, go broke.
