Just like Washington and Rhode Island, California is following up with Trump Derangement Syndrome by passing a bill to remove Trump from the 2020 ballot if he doesn’t offer his tax returns. Why do they bother? California is deeply Democrat. The last time Republicans won the state was George Bush Sr in 1988. Could it be California Dems are worried they’ll lose if they don’t propose this lunacy?

Hillary Clinton won 61.73% of the vote in 2016. Trump managed only half.

Why don’t the Democrat lawmakers just let individual voters decide for themselves whether his tax returns are an issue? Or do they feel compelled to remove the democracy from their own constituents?
